Erica, sorry, I'm not actually a librarian, I just love librarians and what they do. I totally wouldn't mind being one, but I'd have to go back to school and I just finished putting my son through college. I'm actually revising a children's book and lots of my friends are teachers, writers, and librarians. Librarians rock!

Aw, crud, Mary! I just saw your reply. And also? You don't have to have a degree to be a librarian, despite what your degreed librarian friends may tell you. I was a "paralibrarian" for 15 years before getting the degree and learned more on the job and did more than a lot of the degreed librarians in that time. So don't buy the BS - if you want to be a librarian, BE a librarian. Start at home with your own library. ;)
