I had trouble last night adding some folks...twitter tried to tell me you didn't exist. LIES!! I'm all caught up again! I think.
I want to start a blog, but I can't decide whether to use Blogspot or wordpress. Help!

I am a huge fan of simplicity and WordPress is one of the simple blog sites out there. ^_^

Same here, and I'd also go with Wordpress. The only problem is that if you want to substantially change your template via CSS, you have to pay for the privilege. But it's otherwise a snap to use!

Luckily there are a LOT of free templates that have customization options built in, like color schemes or uploading your own header image.
It's been a while since I used Blogger/Blogspot so this may not be the case anymore but they really didn't have as many options when it came to themes and customization.

I use blogger, and I love it. There are a ton of customization options now, including free templates, backgrounds, etc. I have a 3-column blog and a custom header. Also there are more widgets available than I'll ever use.

PS. I'm also a fan of Wordpress. I really like all of the options that are available on the (free) templates that they provide, plus I've found the community their to be just amazing. Everyone is very respectful (I have yet to have any negative comments, fingers crossed it stays that way a while longer), thoughtful, and super nice. :)

Keaven, were we separated at birth? I am too busy trying to recover from my angry 15 yr old and my broken shoulder to start blogging at the moment.Also I have an art career I am trying to salvage.
