It's YA. Of course she'll save him! Unless the author does something totally brave and drastic and kills him off-but then she'll lose half her fan base, so I doubt it. The book isn't out because they have to print it and you can't write a book in a day, no matter how much we wish it could :p
The lack of a love triangle is honestly one of my favorite parts about this book, tough take charge heroine aside. Even though other characters have shown interest Ellie knows who she really likes and diesn't flipflop like most YA heroines... even the explanation for why the other guy (always forget his name) is attracted to her comes without returned fedlings. Hopefully she'll continue to avoid love triangle stupidity.
I won't ever read another book by her if Ellie doesn't save him. At the end of Wings of the Wicked I was ready to rip my heart out and hand it to Courtney Allison Moulton.
Authors have a terrible tendency to rip my heart out and throw it under a 10 ton truck. Especially when it comes to relationships.
Not really. None of them have killed off the dream-boy yet. Except "Girl of Fire and Thorns" which was, by the way, amazing. But this series was awesome too. I didn't see the classic case of crappy sequel which is a huge relief, don't you think?
Ya, most sequels are very crappy, like in Elixer... The sequel(Devoted) is sooo boring. But this one is awesome espesially because we see more Will:)
