"What is with you and loops, eh?" He asked with a slight laugh, watching as the lights fluctuated before his very scrutiny."I call that doing something funny," he murmured, referring to the way she touched his belt loop. At least it wasn't skin, but it was still a little odd in his opinion. He grabbed her hand and removed it from his pants, giving her a sly smile."Hands to yourself," he told her."Just kidding, truth is I feel filly."

She flushed rolling her eyes. "Ouch," she said sarcastically hurt flashing through her eyes gone in a second. "Wow I didn't know you would be so uncomfortable with dancing," she mumbled sarcastically hips still moving to the beat.
"You have so much sarcasm, I'm having trouble understanding you completely," he proclaimed, walking around her in a circle as he analyzed her every move, watching the pained glint in her eyes for just a split second, and reading the whole book of being "rejected" on her body before it was gone in a second."You don't feel for me do you?" He asked her, his eyes narrowing as he circled her again, eyeing her up and down with acclaim.
She stopped dancing heart beating fast. "What do you mean?" She asked stalling for time.
"I mean…" he began, stopping right in front of her, peering down at her clearly astonished form."Ah, never mind, that couldn't be it," he murmured, shaking the thoughts off for show, when he was almost certain she liked him, but he didn't want to make their barely-begun friendship awkward.
"Where you gonna ask me if I liked you?" She blurted out surprised. She cursed herself out in her head.
Noctis stared at her in silence for what felt like eons, trying to come up with something else other than the fact he was going to ask her if she liked him."Yes," he answered simply, given he had no other excuse."I know you don't, though, so you don't need to get defensive or anything," he murmured, shaking his head.

"Clubbers! As ya'll know, tonight's rock lover night here at the StRoBe! Get your Diamond Eyes ready!" the DJ yelled into the microphone. He switched from techno to Diamond Eyes by Shinedown, and cracked up the amp.
((He's a cheesy DJ.))
"I think I do," she muttered closing her eyes afraid to see his expression.
((Lol, I can tell.))"I…" he sighed, tilting his head down to stare at the ground as he placed his hands on his sides, kicking the floor gently as if there was a pebble to kick when there wasn't."Considering I don't know you, I can't really say I feel the same, but we can still be friends," he murmured with a shrug. She was still practically a stranger, plus he wasn't that romantic to begin with.
She nodded her head a little hurt but a lot relieved. She liked him she really thought she did but she wasn't ready for anything like that yet. She opened her eyes shoulders sagging with relief. "Thank God," she murmered softly hoping he wouldn't take offense to it.
He pointed to her with a slight amused twinkle in his eyes."I'll take that as a good thing, I guess," he murmured, biting, softly, his bottom lip. All in all, he really thought he just needed a little time to rest -- his brain was going out of whack, however, he still needed to hang out with Vera."I might be leaving soon to go to my room, I'm feeling out of it," he proclaimed to Beth.
She grinned back to her regular bubbly self. "Awww whatever your such a party popper," she said jokingly.
"No I'm not," he protested, folding his arms childishly over his chest."I'm kind of drunk as you can see, and I want to shake it off before I do something stupid," he informed her, running a hand through his dark hair and then massaging his aching temples.
She snorted with laughter. "You do something stupid?" She asked him raising her eyebrows. "As if," she murmered trying not to laugh.
"You know what? Since doing stupid things isn't a good thing, I'll take your insult as a compliment," he scoffed, not understanding how she could even laugh about that. It wasn't like he was a goodie-goodie, was he?
She grinned. "Sorry your just so...innocent its I dunno its funny," she said giggling.
"I am not innocent!" He protested, throwing his hands in the air."If I wanted to be bad, I could -- I mean, just because I don't like to dirty dance, doesn't mean I'm innocent… you don't know me like that," he mumbled.
Her grin widened. "That's what I'm talking about you say dirty dance!" She said. "I mean what man who's not innocent says that," she said eyebrows raised.
"What do you want me to call it?" He asked, his eyes narrowing in challenge."What? Club dancing, I mean… what difference does it make?" He asked, well aware of the fact she was probably enjoying their little argument, but he didn't care, he was NOT innocent.
She nodded fake agreeing. "Whatever okay your not innocent," she said coughing trying to hide her laugh.
"You're laughing," he mumbled, his eyes narrowing more as if to say 'Are you kidding me?' He rolled his eyes."I'll prove to you one day, I'm not innocent," he murmured."Watch your back, because I'm going to use you as the victim…"
She grinned. "Okay whatever you say," she said. "Mr. Innocent will show me," she muttered sarcastically.

He said nothing else, smiling smugly as Beth obviously did not know what was coming; he didn't either. He didn't know what he would do to teach her a lesson, somehow someway. He walked away, giving her one last sly grin before sauntering back to Vera.
She grinned back knowing there was no way he could prove to her that he wasn't as innocent as a newborn baby. She shook her head softly deciding it was time for her to go. She waved at vera and noctis walking away.
"Hey Vera, you want to get out of here?" He asked, glancing back to check Beth's whereabouts just in time to see her wave. He waved back, watching as she left before he returned his attention back to Vera, sitting down beside her."I should probably get home, however, I'm curious as to where you're going -- I mean, I want to make sure you're safe and well before I go anywhere," he informed her.
Vera raised an eyebrow. "Um, I guess I'm just going out for a midnight swim. Maybe this time you can join me." she said with a smirk.
"Hmmm, swimming," he thought, tapping his chin thoughtfully."Eh, sure…" he murmured. Since it was close to midnight, thus it was dark, swimming would probably be a little more comfortable for him at this time."Are we going now?" He asked, looking about ready to go.
Vera nodded. "Sure. This place isn't really..." she looked around. "For me." she finished.
"Touche," he murmured with a slight laugh, standing up and offering his hand to her so that they could walk out hand in hand, so the risk of losing each other would not be a very likely one.
Vera smiled and tried not to blush as she took his offerred hand.
Gripping her hand tightly, he glanced around the area for the exit, and upon finding it, he guided her out and back in the direction of where they came from; the beach.
