Hello56 Who else is in love with this series?! I'm surprised that I have been sucked into this family of friends.....and now quilting!

Beth A. No but sounds cute for a quick read though...you might have more luck chatting with the reviewers if this doesn't get a response.

Hello56 Hey thanks Beth, they are nice and fast reads with a good story line throughout all of it.

Susan Hello56- I have read all this series and met the author several times. And I have been a quilter for 11 years. I love almost all of her books. The Union Quilters was the only one that I had trouble with. There were too many details about the civil war. I would have enjoyed it more if it stayed more focused on the people at home and how they were coping.

Kelly I'm right there with you. I love this series. I devour every book. She is in my top 5 authors of all time. I dont quilt as I've got to many hobbies with too many uncompleted projects. Scrapbooking is my favorite hobby and I have a bunch of the quilt patterns in my file of layouts to choose from.

Leslie Hello all!
First read about this series in O magazine - think it was on one of the summer reading lists; then found the Sampler book in a small quilt store in Bonners Ferry Idaho...since then a cousin who also quilts and I have been buying and exchanging the books; I'm totally involved in the characters; going on a mission to find my own quilting group!

Julia Ann One of my favorite series - love the quilting references & story lines

Rita Caldwell All of her books are amazing and I keep waiting for another. You MUST begin with the first in the Elm Quilt series and keep going. You won't be able to put them down!!

Kathy Johnson I love these books, I went to Powell's Books in Portland, OR and she was doing a book signing. She signed every one of my books for me. She is not only a great writer, but a nice person also. This is a great series, it not only deals with quilting, but history as well, so it appeals to me on several levels.
