Lakyn fell off of the couch, snoring.

She sighed, catching him with an oof

Lakyn was sleeping soundly, snoring softly.

She smiled and kissed his head softly laying him out on the couch and pulling a blanket over him

He smiled a little.


The next morning, the sun was out, and it was looking to be a lovely day.

She got up early, way to early for her liking, but set about cleaning up their little party from last night and made a big pot of ht coffee

Beau moaned, blinking against the hard light.

"Lakyn" she called softly, bringing her coffee as well as one for him down to where he was, "Lakyn" she repeated softly

He opened hs eyes a little. "Why the fuck am I covered in tin foil?"

"Shit, I knew I forgt something, here dunk some coffee, it'll make it better" she said, hastily taking the tin foil off, trying not to smile or laugh

Lakyn sat up, drinking his coffee, watching her. "I told you I loved you last night" He said, not upset, just stating the fact.

"Yes" she said softly, stopping and looking at him

Lakyn shrugged. "And nothing. I said it, didn't I?"

"y-yes" she said, "w-why did you bring it up?"

"Just wanted to confirm" He said calmly. he then looked outside. "It looks like a good day to go surfing..."

"after last night? I don't think so Mister, you need to rest, of you want tho you can sit out on the beach" she said

Lakyn nodded. "Didn't think you'd let me"

"of course I wouldn't Lakyn" she said softly and held out her hand, "Come on, let's go"

"To where?" He frowned.

"outside, just come" she said

Lakyn smiled. He took her hand. "Now, shall we?"

"Yes we shall" she grinned and led him outside lacing her fingers through his

Lakyn smiled and stood up, waiting for her to lead him out.

Lilac took him outside, smiling and down onto the beach

Lakyn smiled at her. There was an elderly couple on the beach, watching them, scowling.

Lilac didn't pay any attention to the elderly couple, just focusing on him, smiling back at him, walking a bit further and then sat down

Lakyn kept look over his shoulder. The elderly couple walked their way. "Hello, Lakyn, what a pleasant surprise!" Said the old man cheerily, the old lady smiled too. "Yes, come back for some civilisation after those brutes who you call you fellow soldiers soiled your pureness?" Lakyn's jaw locked ever so slightly. "Actually, Mrs. Dupont, I'm on leave. But you would know all about leaving, wouldn't you?"

She stood back up, "Lakyn, I think we should go for a walk" She said, pulling him away from the elderly couple

Lakyn stayed firm, and watched the old lady hiss a little. "Now now, Lilac, we have company" He said pleasantly. "Might I invite you all over for a small dinner party later tonight, Mr. And Mrs. Dupont?" The voice he used when converting with them wasn't his natural one, it was formal, proper, and nothing like he preferred to speak, but he still pulled it off perfectly.

She bit her lip and stopped, standing back next to him, watching the pair, and looked between Lakyn and the woman

The woman smiled. "That'd be lovely, Lakyn. I assume your filthy work garments will be far away from the kitchen table?" Lakyn physically tensed for a split second. "Of course, Mrs. Dupont" He smiled, and watched them leave. "Bitch" He breathed

Lilac turned toward him, looking up at him, cupping a hand to his cheek, "Don't think about it, focus on something else" she said softly

"You know who that is? My aunt. She owns half of Boston" Lakyn laughed. "My work garments" He repeated, mimicking her voice exactly.

"Well, not meaning to offend or anything, but she is a bitch" she said

"You're telling me. She left my cousin Charlie to go to Boston to become a model. He was raised more by nannies than by her" Lakyn shook his head. "Not as if my parents were much better...."

"Forget them, forget it all" she said, putting her hands on either side of his face, making her look into her eyes, "Dont think about anything"

Lakyn stared back up at her. "I try" It was all he could manage, when a loud siren was heard far away in the distance.

She sighed, but nodded, "What is that?" she asked

[Dexter, like a bau5]

"Go the the house, now. Go. Next to the porch is the door to the cellar. Go in there, theres a hurricane coming..." Beau said seriously.

"Lakyn, come with me" she said worriedly, looking up at him

[Dexter, like a bau5]

"I need to secure the house first. I'll be there" He smiled, calm, even as a massive storm was approaching on the horizon.

"Lakyn, let me help, please" she said

"No" He said, serious. "Go, I'll be there. I promise"

She sighed and nodded in defeat, with a kiss to his cheek, "Be careful" she said, following his orders

Lakyn hobbled up the dune, to the house's stables, and made sure the horses were safe, then continued on to the garage.

Lilac ran into the cellar and locked herself inside

Lakyn finished, finally, taking his passport, ID, MacBook, and phone to the cellar. The storm his then, winds sending lawn chairs and glass flying everywhere.
