Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) I've not read any of them. I don't know.

Suzanne (esmerelda1) | 2733 comments I see that 1st to Die is good for the bridge item, but would any of the Women's Murder Club books work? They're all set in San Francisco and I was hoping to be able to read The 9th Judgment.

UNIFORM: Intrinsical (The Yara Silva Trilogy, #1) by Lani Woodland on page 28, heroine is wearing the school uniform

Alyssa (lyssad87) Thanks for the ruling on Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane , Dawn. I ended up finding Mind Games (The Disillusionists Trilogy, #1) by Carolyn Crane though, and it looks like it has a bunch of highway overpasses on the cover.

Amy, I'm like 95% positive there are no bridges in Taken at Dusk (Shadow Falls, #3) by C.C. Hunter . I just finished it like a week ago, and I don't remember any bridges.

I'm already using Taken at Dusk for shifters for the Bingo in the SOS group. I'm currently reading Dreamless (Starcrossed, #2) by Josephine Angelini because of a quote I found for bridge, but I'm also found tree used 6 times already used in a sentence and I'm almost halfway done with the book. I haven't found any bridge yet that I'm aware of yet used in a sentence.

Amy, I have this book as an ebook...and I did a search electronically and found this entry of Bridge:

Chapter two has:
"She held on to both Jason and Helen, as if she was trying to use her arms to bridge the gap between them."

Do you want to to search for other words for you?

Katya Question: as far as the item gravyards go....can we use a book that talks about a grave or tomb? or does it have to be a cemetery/graveyard where multi people are buried?

Yeah, I just posted in the other thread the same thing. For our purposes where multiple people are burried is what we are looking for.

okay so just so I am clear.... Blood on Silk (Awakened by Blood, #1) by Marie Treanor a girl awkens a vampire by breaking into his crypt....this would not count.

And if the word graveyard did not appear but cemetery did...that would be okay?

message 61: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Yes, Katya you are right. If it is his crypt and he is the only one burried there it would not count. However if it was a family crypt, that would be ok.

Also yes if you find the word cemetary or burial grounds it would work. I think some one else used the phrase "line of graves".

Thanks Dawn.....oh one last question....what if a book has multiple graves on the cover such as: Blood on Silk (Awakened by Blood, #1) by Marie Treanor I uses this as an example-this book does mention cemetery inside it but what if it did not and only had the cover which shows the heroine standing in a red gown in the arch way of the entrance of a cemetery?

I must have missed that because I'm already on chapter 10. I've just looked back in chapter two in the hardcover copy, and I can't find the sentence. But, after I did a search of the sentence on Google, I found it's in chapter 3 on page 72 so I did missed that sentence.

Yes that would count for the item on the cover.

Amy ~Lover of Books~ | 675 comments Does this book cover count for graveyard? I think it might be, but I want to make sure so I asked:

Arise (Hereafter #2) by Tara Hudson

message 66: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Alyssa (lyssad87) Would I be able to use Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia for graveyard? I don't know if there are any graveyards in it, but it mentions them on the back cover.

Oh hey, if anyone is looking for a tree book, this one would work. Haha.

Yes to all. I am going to go with any creature that some people say doesn't exist makes it mythical.

How bout zombie? I know some consider it and some don't, but what do you think?

message 88: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Some people don't so I would call them mythical.

(They are the one I really hope is. **shudders** I can handle vampires, werewolves , demons, wicked fey, but zombies creep me out completely)

So, is it a yes then? Dearly, Departed do have zombies so I was just asking.

message 90: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Yes Zombies are counted among mythical creatures.
