To me writing is not a matter of choice at all. I have no idea why I write, I only know that the experience of writing gives me a kind of pleasure that I can't get anywhere else in life, and it's miles away from the experience of reading (which is also very enjoyable indeed).
Perhaps I'm writing now because that's what I've been doing for twenty years... Like coffee drinking, smoking and listening to music...

I totally agree! Sometimes I get so frustrated that I want to quit, but I can't stop writing. Somehow I have to keep on going. What kinds of things do you write?

I write because I feel inspired and I want to inspire others. I get this image in my mind of something so beautiful that I must share it with the world. Also, I write to push the limits of the world. <3
