teddy got out his wand. "Have you learned patronuses before?" He asked.

Dynastelle nodded "mhm. I used to could do it in my sleep, but I'm a bit out of practice at the moment"

[Rachel]

"Ok, so you know how or do you want me to go over it again?"Teddy asked.

"if you don't mind" she said

[Rachel]

"No it's fine," Teddy said. "That's what Im here for! So as you pobably know, the Patronus is used for warding off dementors. To cast the spell, you must think of as happy of a memory as you can imagine. THen you should say the incantation, Expecto Patronum." Teddy drew his wand and focused on a happy memory. "Expecto Patronum" Out of his wand shot a shimmering blue wolf. "Just like that," Teddy said gesturing to his patronus. "Now you try."

She tried and a faint lion appeared from her wand.

[Rachel]

"That's a good start," Teddy said. "Are you sure that was the happiest memory that you could think of?"

"uuuh... Yep. I'm pretty sure" then, without warning, she tried again, this time having it last longer

[Rachel]

"Good job!" Teddy congradulated. "Keep working on that, I am going to go check on the others." Teddy said, walking overto the other side of the room. "Do you guys want some instruction an Expelliarmus over hers?" Teddy asked noticing that Maria didn't seem around.

"Sure" Chilton said happily

Katherine choose to sit and watch, with a happy smiled on her face.

[Rachel]

“Ok, so Expelliarmus, as you probably know, is a spell cast to disarm your opponent. While casting the spell you must flick your wrist for the desired effect. Like this.” Teddy waved his wand to the left and the around in a loop. “Please, now everyone pick a partner and take turns trying to disarm each other.” Teddy said as he stepped back to watch them.

Chilton looked around for a partner.

[Rachel]

"I guess I can be your partner for now, until someone else speaks up." Teddy said.

"Okay!" he said, getting out his wand. "I may warn you that my sister and I already know most of this, so don't go easy on us!" he said with a mischevious gleam in his eye

[Rachel]

Teddy laughed. "I'm glad you know a lot of this. I just want us all to get better and practice makes perfect!" Teddy got out his wand. "Do you want me to defend myself or just let you practice without defense?" Teddy asked.

Chilton shrugged "Whatever works. I don't mind either way"

[Rachel]

"Ok, then I am going to choose to defend myself. That sounds more appealing," Teddy said. "Have at me!" He said, pulling his wand up in front of him.

[Naomi]

Naomi ran into the room, out of breath. "Sorry I'm late!" she exclaimed. "Filch was trying to give me detention for being 'out and about'. What are we doing right now?"

[Rachel]

"It's ok! We are still getting lots of new members so you aren't the only one. Right now we have a group practicing Expelliarmus and the other is practicing Expecto Patronum." Teddy answered the new girl.

"Beginners over here." Maria called moving to a corner in the room

[Rachel]

"Hey Maria, can you take over over here so I can go back to teaching the patronus?" Teddy said.

"Sure! What are you working on?" Maria asked coming over.

[Rachel]

"Oh, sorry I forgot to give you the lessons." Teddy said. "We are working on Expelliarmus and Protego if we have time."

"Ok gotcha." Maria said with a smile "All beginners over here." she said drawing her wand

[Rachel]

"And just so you know I was just about to start practicing with Chilton so he has already been talked to. I was planning on them all finding partners and then practicing the spells on eachother. YOu can either supervise or join them." Teddy said walking back to his group with the Patronus Charm.

"Sounds good!" Maria said

Roxanne skipped over to Maria "So were do we start?"

"ready?" Chilton asked, raising his wand at Teddy ((what should Dynastelle do now))

Katherine's hand once again started fiddling with her eyebrow ring. She wondered if she was in the right place. She thought she might be learning some new things, but so far she was only sitting, watching others learn new things... It's only your first day here, Kat... You'll learn something new later. Give it time... She thought.
"What about amimagus'? Is anyone one?" She asked the group.

[Rachel]

((I can have another of my characters go by him))
"Yup! Fire away!" Teddy said.

Gwen walked in and noticed everyone was already in groups. It seemed that one kid was alone so she went over by her. "Hey, are you working on the patrinus charm?" She asked.

[Rachel]

Teddy looked over to Kat. "We can fit animagus in tomorrow if you would like. Sorry that you don't have anything to do, I am planning some more advanced magic for later lessons, I promise."

Katherine smiled welcomingly. "No, I already know that one... Are you?" She asked.

Chilton flicked his wand "Expelliamus!"

Dynastelle looked at her "uuh, I guess so. I'm practicing"

Maria ducked "Great job Chilton! Try it on this" Maria said as she flicked her wand and summoned a wooden dummy holding a crude wand " remember always flick your wand to the left side."

He tried again, flicking his wand left

Gwen thought of a happy memory and cast the Patronus charm. Only a weak spurt of silvery light came from her wand. "Arg..." She said, quite frustrated.Then she tried again and got a little better result.

Teddy scanned the room, making sure everyone was occupied. Since everyone seemed like they were he walked over to Katherine. "Are there any spells in particular that you want to learn?" He asked.

Dynastelle looked at Gwen. "are you sure it's your HAPPIEST memory?"

[Rachel]

"I guess not, I'll try a different one," Gwen said and tried to think of something happier. When she finally found something, she cast the spell, "Epecto Patronum!" She shouted. A silvery owl spirted from her wand. "Yes!" She said, excitedly.

Dynastelle smiled "yay!"

Gwen laughed, "Thanks!" Can I see your patronus?" She asked.

Dynastelle nodded "Expecto Petronum!!" a spectral lion appeared from her wand

[Rachel]

"Wow," Gwen said as she watched the lion. "You're pretty good at this."

She shrugged "I've had a lot of practice"

Iris walks in, late.

"Sorry im late! What are we doing today?" Iris asks, rather nervous for her first lesson.

[Rachel]

"That's good. I haven't had much practice on this one but I've mastered a bunch of others." SHe said.

[Rachel]

Teddy looked up to see another newcomer. "Right now we are working on either Expelliarmus or Expecto Patronum. If you don't know Expelliarmus I would sugqgest that one before going on to Expecto Patronum." Teddy said.

Chilton walked over to Iris. "We're doing the Petronus Charm and the Expelliamus Spell"
