This series was highly recommended by pretty much everyone so I decided to give it a try, in spite of being tired of vampire books.
It was good but not epic like, for example, The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare. First of all, the heroine, Rose Hathaway is so not my favourite kind of heroine. :S
I am not much of a fan of slutty heroines. -.-'
She is definitely slutty! Too much, I would say, in a way that I have to agree with my fellow Dimitri and say that she ends up looking cheap! o.O
Dimitri, nonetheless, is my favourite kind of hero - battle scarred, tortured, mysterious, sexy, etc. You get the picture! xD
I finished this book with the conclusio that if you want to have a nice life in this world, you need to be a Moroi, with the strength and speed of a Strigoi and the suckers-and-politics-free life of a dhampir. xD
I am trying to gather my strength so I can move to Frostbite xD
