Combine all three series'?

This god and goddess, Lord Shiva and Parvati were married and the goddess created a young boy to stand guard outside and make sure that nobody barged into her castle while she was bathing. He was doing his duty when Lord Shiva, 1 of the 3 main 1s and therefore 1 of the strongest came to the castle and the boy refused to let him in.
Enraged he cut off the boy's head. When the goddess came out she saw what he had done and... Well threw a blue fit. So to appease her Lord Shiva sent his men with the instruction to get the first head they could find back. The first 1 happened to be an elephant.
The head was brought back and Lord Shiva repaired the boy. Thus was born Ganesha/Ganpati.
He then became their son, well maybe not technically but yeah, he is their son, and became a god in his own right.
He's really really awesome I may add. He loves food and is the most chilled out of the gods.

Huh. I guess they do. Tall, dark, and scary usually get my vote in most books too though.
