Martin, I think you misunderstood the purpose of Book Related Banter.. It's not a place to write an essay such as this. It's a place to instigate conversation with book related topics.

I've placed this thread in a more appropriate folder. Be careful with how you place threads within the group, and practice becoming familiar with them by commenting on ones that are already in existence too.
