This is my main on-line book base: http://archive.org/index.php. The IADL is a meta-library, which is to say that it searches many other on-line libraries, including all Google, all Gutenberg, all U. Mich and many others.
The IADL is also a base for finding on-line music and videos. Check out the choices you have when you scroll down the "all media types" box right next to the search box.
As with most other meta-libraries, you will frequently get an overlarge number of hits, particularly when you're using broad search terms. If you want to search for something like Darwin, evolution, or Charles Dickens, go directly to Advanced Search and think up some good entries to target what you really need.
After using IADL, please post comments here. Was it easy for you? Fruitful? Any tips for other users?
