A few minutes ago, I finished A Good-Hearted Man by Barbara Kaylor. It was pretty good. :)
Tonight, I plan to start

I LOVE that series, Jennifer! Are you a biblical fiction fan, or is Lynn Austin a favorite?

I'm now almost finished with

all of her books are funny and good.

Love "To Win Her Heart" !!!

I was very disappointed in that book also. I normally like Dee Henderson books.

Another great read by Julie Klassen! :)

The Boy From the Basement
It's not a "Christian" book but is clean and an excellent read for anyone involved in foster care, with abused children, or interested in the perspective of a child who is betrayed by those who should love him. I highly recommend it.

Karen Kinsbury really good

Nicole, did you read the rest of the series? Anything by her is good . . . anything!

Anything by Susan May Warren is also good. She's a fabulous writer. You can also check out www.novelcrossing.com for lots of Christian fiction ideas. (If you'd like to read more biblical/historical novels, I have two out and a third one releasing March 1--Love in a Broken Vessel) Enjoy! Love Amid the Ashes: A Novel Love's Sacred Song

"Lineage of Grace" Novellas by Francine Rivers...

I remember loving the first one and the third one...The last one was just okay to me...I dont remember exactly how I felt about the 2nd and 4th...But I know 1st and 3rd were my favorites if I am remembering correctly. :-) (Clicking on each book will tell you what each are about exactly but they're the Lineage leading up to the Messiah.) :-)

Any of the books written by Lisa Wingate or Donna Van Liere are good choices for Christian Fiction and a newer author in the Christian Fiction genre that I like is Dan Walsh. And of course, there is a whole series of books written by Jan Karon that are wonderful.

Is that the first book? I don't remember if I read it or not . . . I've wanted to read that series.

Yes, it's book 1 in the Dominion Trilogy. Have you read any of his other books?

Dan Walsh is a SUPER guy, Marilyn! He teamed up with Gary Smalley for a new series--first book releases April 2012. ;) The Dance

During a family picnic, Jessica Britton’s well-ordered world is slammed against a brutal reality and her faith is tested when her mom is kidnapped, her dad is shot, and authorities can find no clues to begin their investigation. Jessica’s own anxiety and fear for her mother’s life compel her to help FBI Agent Dan Hamilton look for motives and clues that would lead to rescuing her mom. By chance, clues begin to emerge, and the once floundering investigation speeds to a hectic race against time and criminal minds in a desperate attempt to save Jessica’s mom and the lives of many in San Francisco’s business district.

I absolutely LOVED Love's Reckoning. Definitely one of my favorite books. I am excited for the next book in the series!
