God damnit. A great writer, and a nice guy too by all accounts.
so sad. He produced of the most imaginative stories I ever read
In honor of the now late Mr. Bradbury I looked up some of his quotes here on Goodreads and took a few I liked that I would share with everyone..enjoy.“You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you.”

That's sad news. RIP Myr. Bradbury. Your writing will be read for years to come.
Very sad news, but he left such a legacy!
Ray Bradbury is one of the authors who inspired me to be a writer and I am happy at least I met him a few times years ago when lived in California and did the conventions out there. I still have his books and can reread and reread them over and over. He has always entertained me since I was in middle school. I plan to reread some of his works this summer and watch Something Wicked This Way Comes that I own on DVD as a homage.
Rest in peace, thanks for the stories.
I wish he could have lived another 91 years. In my imagination, in a story that Bradbury could have penned poetically, he does.
I was sad when I heard the news. He was a great writer and will be missed.
What an amazing career.
