Before starting to read, my interest was first piqued by the layout and artwork. I really enjoy books that have that extra layer of creativity and thought to them, and then the story and characters just tie it all perfectly together!

Wasn't one I would have normally been inclined to read. However, I'm loving it. The first person POV is not generally my favourite, but it really works in this instance. This is one interesting nine-year-old. I will re-read this, which is something I rarely do, but there's so much in this book, from interesting , imaginative images - such as, imagine if the floors of an building move and the elevators stand still. Many laugh out loud moments too.
