Anne (mekone) | 1 comments I've just started knitting a shawl for my mum's birthday, a sort of lacy pattern (using art yarn) and the knitting needles are size 15! Biggest ones I've ever used and they do make my hands feel funny after just a short while.
Other than that, I'm into beading and crochet at the moment, haven't done much else this year yet.

Mia (hotwolfie) | 1 comments I'm finishing up a scrapbook of my trip to New Orleans right now.

I also picked up a book about upcycling old scarves. So I'm sewing a dress and a top made out of scarves I got as gifts, but never wore. I hope my friends don't recognize those scarves lol

lol :P

Kori (Bad_Apple) | 3 comments Well, I've been on babysitting duty for my friend for about a week - so I've been craft busy lately. Me and the little rug rats made paperdolls, pine cone bird feeders, dried pasta pictures, and finger paintings.

Mary Ellen McWhirter | 6 comments I have been sewing lately.... placemats and napkins, purses, pillowcase...and knitting.

message 59: by Valerie (new)

Valerie | 6 comments Right now I am working on reversible scarves on my double ended hooks. They are Christmas gifts for my co workers. Currently the one on my hook is chocolate brown and a dark pink color.

message 60: by [deleted user] (new)

I am trying to perfect using paints... mostly acryllic and water colour XD
I have to do some exam preps now -_-

Susie Odiorne | 5 comments Painting, mostly oil paintings. I love portraits and dream of one day being a street artist in New Orleans, or Kerrville Texas! Lol. Why not? Why not Bali? Well, everyone here does art, and most for much less than I could live on.

I journal.... Dump the stuff in my brain. I work at becoming a better person, partner, and parent. These are all creative pursuits... Performance Art, so to speak. Creating harmony.

Mary Ellen McWhirter | 6 comments Someone asked me to define which craft currently is on my table. To be honest, I am doing quilted cards and regular cards for the holidays, beading ornaments, sewing, and.....well, whatever crosses my interest. Everyone else??

message 63: by Lorna (new)

Lorna | 3 comments Christmas cards and gifts using paints, stamps, paper and beads.

message 64: by Maria (new)

Maria (mariakelly) | 4 comments I've just finished a crochet table runner which is a gift for a friend. I hope she likes it, I know they can look a bit old fashioned. It matches her kitchen/dining room though so hopefully it'll be ok.

message 65: by Debbie (new)

Debbie | 1 comments I am working on a photo quilt for my mom's 75 th birthday.

message 66: by Mary Ellen (new)

Mary Ellen McWhirter | 6 comments Well, as per usual, I am doing too many things at once. I am finishing a valance for a friend, sewing skirts for others, beading onto styrofoam eggs, knitting, and pondering doing some water coloring. Hm....yet I am sitting here reading.

message 67: by Andre (new)

Andre Satie | 7 comments i'm having fun knitting bags and felting them. I love to do knitted colorwork, and I find that pretty bags make great gifts. I'm not kniting socks just now ... I'm experiencing "second sock syndrome" and a bag is ... well, just one.

message 68: by Valerie (new)

Valerie | 6 comments I wish we could post pictures... I just finished a shawl last week for a friend and now I'm working on another shawl for myself.

message 69: by Andre (new)

Andre Satie | 7 comments Hi Valerie - I see that the comment field says "some html is ok) .... I would love to see your shawl. Is it the new triangular shape that I see in the pattern books? Lace? I tried a triangular pattern, and didn't like it when finished, as it was kite shaped and bunched up at the neck. I think i'll see if I can find a way to post a picture.

Andre Satie | 7 comments Valerie, let's see if this works. www.fiberfelicity.weebly.com This conversation has forced me to look at this old site. Now i want to update it.

Valerie | 6 comments Oh, Andre, your projects are beautiful! Thank you for sharing them. I love your infinity cowl especially. Let's see if this works.... This is my triangular shawl:

Yes, please update it for us!

message 73: by Andre (new)

Andre Satie | 7 comments Valerie, I love it! Did this pattern start at the top with only a few stitches, or bottom up? I love the stitch pattern.

message 74: by Andre (new)

Andre Satie | 7 comments I use "weebly" for my fun website. I'll have to take some photos and get them uploaded ... there are a few fun things I can share. Do you have a place where we can see more of your work?

message 75: by Valerie (last edited Apr 26, 2014 08:05AM) (new)

Valerie | 6 comments It starts from the bottom up. It starts out with 2 increases, then 4, then back down to 2. I'm working on another one only this time I'm not moving up to the 4 increase, I'm keeping it at two and making a more triangular shawl.

I've just recently started keeping track of what I make here : Sudsy Crochet There are a few pairs of mitts that I have to add and a few other odds and ends. I've been making more of an effort to update my blog within the past month.

Andre Satie | 7 comments Mary Ellen, is there a way you can show us your work? I'd love to steal some ideas from you!

message 78: by Valerie (new)

Valerie | 6 comments Your cards sound so pretty, Mary Ellen. I gave my mom a hand made (not by me) Mother's Day card last year and she loved it! Hand made cards are a special treat.

message 79: by Andre (new)

Andre Satie | 7 comments OK, let's all make some cards!
