He had a fight with his dad when he was thirteen because he wanted a motercycle, but his dad argued that he wasn't old enough. Spencer bought one anyways and then crashed. His left hand is paralyzed, and his father hasn't talked to him ever since, and then died when he was fifteen. Now Spencer can't forgive himself.
