MB's Book Diary: What She Read in 2009
Hi MB. What did you think about The Finishing Touches? I've only read Browne's first Little Lady Agency book and liked it.
Hi Dini! I liked it almost as much as The Little Lady Agency. It was a very cute story and I liked the finishing school touches. In comparison, it was a little slow in places and there's not tons of romance, but I enjoyed it a lot--more than I did the last two books in the 'Little Ladies' series anyway. It was a total comfort read for me.You'll have to let me know how you liked it if you read it. (Then if you do, you might like to try Elegance by Kathleen Tessaro as well.)
