BERENDA AND THOMAS!!people think Beranda is hard core, but she could be so soft at times, unlike Teresa. Teresa was annoying, but i dont know she was a real friend, and well she obviously had feelings for thomas, but thomas is such an inconsiderate jerk!. He doesn't trust his own memories, which show that he and Teresa were good friends, and when she betrayed him to make sure he lived he didnt understand that. Yet he trusts a girl he has known for 3 weeks who WORKS with WICKED and LIED to him about having the Flare.
Obviously, I hate Rat Man, but besides that, I actually didn't like Teresa that much. Although, her dying made a peculiar ending to the story.
Teressa. After what she did in The Scorch Trials I just couldn't trust her again. Even if it was to protect Thomas.

I disliked Rat Man...but he had good character structure.I was fine with Theresa, but her character structure was too confusing.

It actually annoys me that everyone claims Teresa betrayed him, which she did to save his freaking life... Brenda lied to him about working for WICKED I am pretty sure Brenda's betrayal was worse.

plus Brenda isn't exactly Kickass for me. Teresa was annoying but she didn't follow anybody. She did what she thought was right. Brenda on the other hand wasn't exactly her own person

Agreed. Brenda lied throughout the whole book about who she was and Thomas still decided he trusted her more than Teresa, the girl who was his best friend and originally his love interest. Teresa should of had more character development, as Crosly pointed out.
This book could of ended much, much better :/

I didn't like Brenda either. I felt like she was using him in the Scorch Trials. Like the whole thing with them in the car and then the club... I don't remember it very well, but it seemed like she only liked him because Thomas was so famous. Theresa really gets all the hate, and I don't like it, because she was only evil because she was more manipulated by WICKED than the rest of them.

Like they did fairly well with The Hunger Games. But they missed small details with Percy Jackson.
But with the maze runner, it's a whole different story. I would absolutely refuse to see the third book on screen, knowing how it will all end -_-

Teresa had to choose between betraying Thomas or letting him get killed by WICKED and obviously any person would go with betrayal.
I blame James Dashner. Someone pissed him off or something when he wrote the third book because none of this makes bloody logical sense :s

Teresa - Most Disliked Character... The only time I enjoyed reading about her was right at the very end of TDC, *smiling*. I am surprised to see Brenda's name listed so much, but I guess I shouldn't be...

Everyone hates Theresa but she was my favorite character. She did what she felt was right and she wasn't afraid of losing Thomas's love if it meant saving his life which I thought showed how much she loved him. And for Thomas to not forgive her made me so mad. I understand she betrayed you, but she was supposed to be your best friend and honestly he would have done the same thing. And don't get me started on Brenda. She's the reason James killed Theresa imo. Theresa was the main heroine before she came along throwing herself at Thomas. Then all of a sudden Theresa's unforgivable and he's locking lips with Brenda's lying ass. They both made me sick.
I hated Teresa the moment she woke up. Stereotypical dystopian girl but without any point to the story except to be annoying and add a "love interest".
