Jason I need some more archetypes from this book. Does anyone know any of them?

Ilze First of all: do you know what archetypes are?
If you've read a little about Jung and his theories, you could pick Piggy (or any of the other characters) as CLEAR archetypes - they say something symbolically. Piggy could be said to be "the joker" or the scapegoat - those are archetypes.

Jessica or the intellectual.

L. Gibbs Here's a few. Just the names alone will help you figure out what applies to The Lord of the Flies.
the innocent
the sacrificial lamb
hero of course
mentor or guide
the journey
joke/trickster as already mentioned
the outcast
the task
the quest
loss of innocence

Jason Lilly Simon is definitely the sacrificial lamb, the Christ figure. I'm torn on who the real "villain" of this book is, since it could be either... wait... just realized this post was submitted 4 years ago... Why am I responding again?
