Idea for Cleaning Up Book Clubs (Posted From Feedback)

I've recently been considering an idea to clean up book club groups a bit. If you notice over at my group, SciFi and Fantasy Book Club, the front page is getting longer and longer. While I don't want to lose past folders that contain our book discussions, I do want to clean up the organization. Toward a resolution, I drew up a crude idea for a fix (emphasis on crude!)

I suggest the following:

1. Featured Discussion Folders. Designate up to two and display them in two tower boxes like I made here.
2. Discussions can be kept as it is below these.
3. Archived Folders. Allow mods to designate displaying up to ten here and display only the most recent topic folder names. In Edit Folders, allow mods to check a box that will archive them, removing them from the front page and placing them here for posterity. Clicking a link will display all of them.

So, any questions, comments, jokes at my expense on my ideas or drawing ability...

I like this setup - especially since it will help the page to not seem so overwhelming.
