I know, right, Karen? Seriously, Karen and I were so giddy through the whole month planning this...I'm sure I drove Darryl nuts with it!

The best part for me, though, was I got to include both my daughters in it. Tessa held the camera for me while I was taping in the yard (its pretty obvious it was a little kid lol) and Alison helped me edit it. And they both had fun, too!

I should make an outtakes video just of mine, it was freaking hilarious how long it took me to record that itty bitty message...things weren't working well, lol!

I appreciate your support, but I'm a bit confused. Are you sure it's all self-published authors? I'm pretty sure that's not right as all those sites have recently upgraded their platforms for self-published authors, which I use all the time...

Hello everyone! Have you heard that Amazon, B&N and KOBO are going to remove books in Erotica and Self-published Indie authors?

I was sad by this because I've read a lot of good books by self-published authors. I signed on a petition to drop the clause

If there is something here, I'm pretty sure it's not aimed at ALL self-published authors. Perhaps it meant to say self-published erotica authors? Either way, no one should be censoring what can be self-published so this petition should be signed!

It looks like its mainly erotica, David. It started by someone finding a certain book that suggested incest in the title. I won't tell you the name, its disgusting. But because of that darn book (which apparently is not about incest, is just poorly named) Kobo locked down all its titles for a day, then started deleting left and right. Amazon and Barnes and Noble followed.

Again, totally against the principle of the thing. And as far as I can tell, its only indie books that are being deleted.

I haven't done an update to the group in a while, so I guess I'm due!

The manuscript of Brew is finished! What does that mean exactly? It means my literary agent and her team are now reading the book. If they like it enough, they'll help me revise and edit it and then pitch to potential publishers (which means it could be a ways off from publication). If they think it's better as a self-published novel, then I'll take their feedback on board and self-publish it (likely in January or February).

Meanwhile, I've started writing the first book in my next dystopian series. At this time, I'm keeping it very hush hush as I'm really excited about the title and the concept, and I'm not quite ready to reveal anything yet. But I can say I think it has tremendous potential and will be full of action and twists!!

LOL!! If it was just up to me, that's exactly what I'd say! But now I have an agent (woohoo!) who's part of the discussion, and hopefully one day I'll have a publisher involved too! But if it was up to me, I'd release all three books in BOTH my new series in 2014. It could still happen!

Awwwwwww thanks M! Unfortunately, the publishing part will take longer in 2014 although I'm writing them just as fast :) It's a much longer process now that I have an agent and we're seeking a publisher for my books, but hopefully the next one will be out sooner rather than later!
