Edit: ACTUALLY, there's a little "Add to my Update Feed" checkbox at the bottom of the comment window, which I bet also fixes that problem.
Yes, that does it.AND you can set the default to not add posts to your update feed in the Feed tab in Settings (which I got to via the Edit Profile link in the drop-down in the upper right, though there may be a simpler way to get there). Of course, it affects all groups you're in, but some of us are only in one group (active in one group? I don't even know).


I just noticed that comments here turn up on my friends list updates fully visible, so presumably that's true for other posters' friends lists too. So I guess we should consider hiding comments with a (view spoiler)[spoiler (hide spoiler)] tag. It's easy - you put the word "spoiler" in <....> brackets, just like normal html, with a slash to close after the spoiler like this: < / ...> (the spaces and dots are all filler or it doesn't show in the comment)
