I think, as of right now, I have only read one vampire book I enjoyed (Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa) so I'm not dismissing the topic forever, but it would be nice for a change to have faeries be the best thing, or something. I don't know.

The whole vampire thing gets boring after about two/three books with the same basic plot just with different characters...

I enjoy the paranormal theme happening lately. I find it interesting to read the hundreds of different variations on the vampire tale.
