Oh I forgot all about the fan days, they've added so many people since I last looked at the site. That would be fun to go I've never been to an event like this though.

Hey everyone! How is this Local forum topic working, is it too scattered? Do any groups that look like they've been solidly created in an area want to STICKIE their post to the top so they're more visible as an established group? (Vicky can help with that I think)
Also I was thinking of creating a little local fan kit of VF stuff for people who get local meetups established, something low-priced but fun to receive if you're having a meetup. Aside from bookmarks, what can we put in that?

Maybe do Bookmarks, pens, notepads, maybe a small/med bag of Vaginal Fantasy M&M's :D
I love the idea of "sticking" the more established groups to be able to find the discussion for our local hangouts easier. Alphabetical order would be so much easier, especially for people like me who are traveling using the Goodreads app on a phone. There's no way to sort the discussions, and I've not been able to find the DFW hangout for a couple if days now. Unless its user error, lol!

I think it might be easier to organize and follow if we made one master thread with links to all the groups having meetings (and potentially a list of LFM groups). Right now we have 9 groups having local meet-ups or G+ hangouts, and that's a lot of sticky threads.
It would also be easier to organize a list that way... the last sticky thread always "sticks" to the very top so to add a new one in any sensible order would mean un- and re-sticking all the threads.
I have one mostly drafted that I've been working on in my spare time that I can post when I get home tomorrow if that's the route we want to take!

I'm in Riverside, California. There aren't really any book clubs that are listed on Goodreads in my area so it would be awesome if others were around to meet up. I'm not terribly social but would go to a meeting for this.

Will they be shippable overseas though? Because I am in Copenhagen, Denmark, and would love a local hangout, but I'm not sure who else is from here xD
Hi guys, I am in the Modesto/Stockton area (about and hour south) California. I am a kindle user as well.

Yeah thats a really good idea Vicky, list all the established area ones and link to their threads under the area.
I'll figure out what we can do with the starter kits, and yeah overseas if it's small should be ok!

I agree, having one stickied thread with links to the established groups organized by state would be amazing!

Are there any members in the Moscow, ID and Pullman, WA area? Maybe I should print out flyers promoting VF and start posting them on both campuses...

I just want the bookmarks SOOO badly, and shipping to Denmark for 25 pieces from that site that was posted in the Vaginal Fantasy Gear's thread was 106 Dollars, which is INSANE! >_<
I am still new to this group, even if I DID join in June, and I haven't read along with any of the books yet, but Kushiel's and Daughter of the Blood are on my To-read list, I hope that gets me in the door xD
I don't suppose there's anyone else on their todd who would be keen for an online hangout maybe? I realise that it might be difficult with timezones but it's worth a shot if anyone else is interested.
