For clarification, are you asking for the cover to be replaced, or for a different, already-created edition to the be default edition?

The cover of the paperback can be changed, but only if the paperback was never published with the cover currently displayed. Was it? If it was originally published with the currently displayed cover, we will create an alternate cover edition for you with the new cover.Unfortunately, there is no manual way to change which edition shows up in the search and on your author page. The default edition is automatic and will be whichever is shelved by the most GR users. (So once more people have shelved your new cover, that will become the primary/default edition.)
Great! Now I'll combine the alternate cover edition with the others, and you should be all done. :)
