Helga (helga666) | 31 comments The audio book is $45 that a bit much I'm glad i had saved a credit.

How much is the hard cover/e-book?

did any one ells find this book a bit price.

message 2: by Patricia (new)

Patricia I have the ebook,I purchase ebooks through Amazon and the price depends on your region. For me in the Netherlands it was $11.03, which is actually a very decent price compared to a lot other ebooks. Especially considering the length of the book.

message 3: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay (roguefire) | 85 comments It's $7.99 in the states on Amazon for eBook - and as Patricia said, a steal for a huge book. I think I paid more for the mass market...

message 4: by Kristi (new)

Kristi | 2 comments It's $7.99 for the Nook book as well. The Audible audiobook price was obscene though and I don't have a credit at the moment, so I'll be adding this one to my eBook collection.

Rune | 43 comments I have found the book on amazon and should be getting it tomorrow :) I am excited about this one :)

message 6: by Natalie (new)

Natalie (neon_bookworm) | 2 comments Hardcover is about $30-35 new. I'm not surprised at the audiobook price though since the book is so long, at around 700 pages.

Gotobedmouse | 73 comments I bought the mass market today for $7.99. The only one they had in the store.

message 8: by Goddessfreya (new)

Goddessfreya | 9 comments I cannot seem to find this book. I don't have an e-reeder and don't want to have to break down and buy one....yet. Barnes & Noble doesn't seem to carry it in paper and Amazon says availability is 1-3 months. Any suggestions as to where else to look?

message 9: by Kristina (new)

Kristina try http://www.abebooks.com/ (if you don't mind used books) I use the ISBN-10 codes off of Amazon and search for tons of books on that site. Cheap used books!

ISBN-10: 0330493744 (this is out of print but Abe has it starting at $3.95 with shipping!

message 10: by Victoria (new)

Victoria (vceden) Whoa! I bought this at my local store for $3 (used) today.

message 11: by Paul (new)

Paul | 49 comments I ordered the paperback from Amazon, but they won't ship it for another 1-3 months. (same as Freya). Unfortunately, I ordered it BEFORE I found out it was the book for this month, so I guess I won't read it until later.

Finding this book might turn out to be a challenge for those of us who don't use e-books.

message 12: by Molly (new)

Molly (mollyrichmer) I read the whole trilogy last fall. Got all three in hardback from my local library. :)

message 13: by Brittney (new)

Brittney | 49 comments Check your local libraries if you are having trouble finding this or finding it at a price you like.

message 14: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Gallagher | 2 comments I definitely think the ability to find it in a print book should be considered when choosing the book of the month :(

message 15: by Seawood (new)

Seawood £6.44 ($10.03 according to xe.com) for Kushiel's Dart on Kindle in the UK (which was a little over my usual threshold but I had't realised it was so long!), and loads of used copies on Amazon UK for as cheaply as £1.50 as well as new copies from Amazon and other sellers with no delay on them, by the look of it. Bizarrely a lot of the used copies are from US sellers! No idea what the international shipping to the US is but UK readers at least should have no trouble getting hold of it. For a change!

jennifer (gidesfruitbowl) I always check the libraries and call all the used bookstores first.

If you're in the LA area - the lapl.org has a few copies of Tigana and Kushiel's Dart and Pasadena/Glendale libraries have a couple Kushiel's Dart. Also, there are no less than 5 bookstores just on Colorado. Bookfellows/Mystery and Imagination in Glendale specializes in genre fiction (but don't trust their web search; call instead).

Rosanna | 22 comments For all the Aussies looking for Kushiel's Dart, it's available on kindle and ebooks also Booktopia (online bookstore) for $9.45 in paperback. They're having a sale on a whole lot of books as well so go crazy! Same price for Daughter of the Blood too. It seems like they don't ship overseas unfortunately :(

This book has been one of the top ten fantasy series in most book stores for about 10 years! (I used to manage a book store, we always had it on hand).
Availablility shouldn't be an issue either in new or used bookstores.
I suggest that you check your local libraries, mine had multiple copies and it didn't have ANY of the Linnea Sinclair books! (Meaning that they aren't always with the times, when I asked about Steam punk novels I got a shrug and then was told to look it up by author).
Also check: www.chapters.ca and www.abebooks.com

If you live in Sydney, pop over to Galaxy Books - they're on York St, just across from the QVB. They usually have a pretty big range that's in stock. They even offer free shipping any where in Australia if you order 3 or more books.

They also offer international shipping to most countries.. not sure how pricy international shipping is though. Both books are in stock and ready to ship. :)

Steffi (missymack) | 2 comments The Kindle version is 4,60€ in Germany. So that's really cheap.
Really looking forward to reading it.

I would first check with your local Mom & Pop bookstores. I'm sure they would be glad to have your business.

Another option is to get the e-book and read it using the Kindle Apps that you can run on your computer, tablet or smart phone (assuming you have one of those of course). Of course, there are other apps if you want to go the non-amazon route too.

I wouldn't look at getting an e-reader as something you have to 'break down' to buy. They are awesome devices and far more game changing than tablets, which are just another type of computer.

Also with the upgrades and new models that have come out these past few years you can scoop up a barely used one for a decent bargain from someone who decided they just had to have the new hotness.

I'm not sure about that, I really kind of wanted to stay paper books forever. I really hated the screens on the first kindles and ereaders. It was like my first gameboy :/ at the same price.

I know the ereader companies are making more "tablet" style ereaders, but I broke down and bought a tablet and got ereading apps instead. Main reason for this, Tablet was $99 US and that's just slightly more than the ereaders secondly, it's not limited by the proprietary software, so if I want to do something crazy or get the latest app I can.

Either way yes, there are many used and very cheap tablets and ereaders out there, and it's not as terrible as it seems (I was in the break down and buy category). I actually ended up loving my tablet, and I pretty much only eread on it with a splash of twitter and Draw Something on the side.

Kristen (aubi) | 13 comments I have had an iPad for 2 years and wouldn't trade it for anything. As much ask loved reading books prior to ebooks...I read waaaaay more now cause it's so much easier.

Love it!

...I guess I should admit to loving audible books too :)

Just wanted to say thanks! I got my book today and it only cost me $3.95. There is a serious lack of mom and pop book stores (excepting ones that sell exclusively christian books) in my area so this is a great option. Thanks for the info.
