Lauren (djinni) Jersey baby!

message 55: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Arthur wrote: "What's a Disney World?"

Disney World has four theme parks, two water parks, 23 themed hotels, and TONS of shopping, dining, entertaining and recreation venues. LOCATION: Orlando, Florida. Also known as Walt Disney World Resort. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/

Idk if the link worked, but yeah, Disney's pretty popular...

What's Jersey and Chicago like? I've never been there :(

message 57: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) Most people think Jersey is dirty and smelly, but that's only around the Turnpike and Parkway. Everywhere else in Jersey, full of trees, the mountains, the shore, there is nature everywhere.

Deff the shore is best. Miles of coast, thousands of amusements parks and arcades. The waves aren't big, but they you can relax in the water without drowning. X)

Marley (Marleyme95) | 32 comments Chicago is a great city! It's on a lake and I LOVE it!!

Ahhh. Makes me so jealous. I want to be there! Right now, all I smell is nail polish remover. I spilled it on my glasses.

Chicago sounds so cool too! I'll just imagine that I'm there.

message 65: by Marley (new)

Marley (Marleyme95) | 32 comments Me too, ours started in October, it snowed the day before Halloween.

message 66: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm from California and lately it's been in the mid 80's. I'm a pansy and whine about weather like this. I wish it was colder. I plan to move somewhere where the average is around 75.

If it does, I will only go there for a vacation. :)

message 71: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) Oh yeah. I've never been there, but I live in Michigan, and I think that it's almost directly east of where I live. And it snows TON in Michigan.

Last week, I thought that winter might actually be done. Then, two days ago, it dropped about twenty or thirty degrees, and two or three inches of snow was dumped on us. Urgh. This winter is never ending! It started really early too! Normally, there isn't any snow on my birthday (dec. 13) but this year, it snowed on thanksgiving and stuck. The cold hasn't let up since. But I suppose that it is getting a tiny bit warmer. Although, we did get a week in january and a week in february that got up to 60 degrees. it was nice to be able to go outside without a coat. :)

message 72: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Ahhh! It's making me cold to just read that! It's 70 or lower right now in Florida, and I'm cold. Not really cold, just cool.

message 73: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) Ha, Anything above 55 would feel warm to me right now...*wishes to be somewhere warm*

geez, minnesota is at the top of world-suck right now haha... like, it's changed from winter, to spring, and back- like three times in the past month...... as soon as allll the snow melted, we had a huge snowstorm. like, come onnnnn.... >.<

message 75: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe why does everyone live in a cold snowy place? if my parents decide to live in a cold place when i go to high school, i told them i will go to hawaii to live with my grandparents.

haha, my sister moved to florida as soon as she moved out... whether that was to escape the weather or my *coughINSANEcough* parents, i dunno hahaha... but yeah, i'm planning on first moving to a state somewhere in the middle, so there's still cold weather, but not like minnesota.... :D
and then i'm off to ireland or england or france.... not here :P

message 77: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I plan to go to Alaska someday to watch the Iditarod Race. Europe will be a vacation. I don't think I would want to live there though. I have no idea why though. I've lived in Nevada, Taiwan, and now Florida. Hawaii is only if my parents are crazy enough to live in a cold place. I'm hopefully and probably going to move out of the house as soon as I get my high school diploma. Right now, I'm not a person that cares about dating, but my dad talks about what the guy has to be like and blah, blah, blah. I said I probably won't date until I move out of the house in that case. Right now, it is 63F in Florida and my feet are cold.

What's school like on a snowy day for everyone (obviously everyone but me since everyone lives in snowy states)?

korrinamoe AHHHHH! I'm about to go insane! Am I the only one that doesn't live in a snowy state?

Homeschooled? Coolz!!

message 81: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) lolol five towns share one zip code, pure lunacy.

"Sorry if this is a ridiculous question but, does it snow there?"

We get snow. This year, it snowed (blizzard-ed) about 8 times, maybe? We measure our snow in feet.

message 82: by Emily (new)

Emily (emilyamazingxx) And inches, Lauren. Gosh..

message 83: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Umm....I love visiting people....

...online.

I'm a person that's slips really easily. I can't trust myself in snow. I love jellybeans and potato chips! :)

message 84: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) IT'S A FIGURE OF SPEECH GOSH...

loljk<3

message 85: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Still, I could just slip on a puddle. That's why I walk with a friend on rainy days. So I can pull them down with me if I slip.

Jk.

Told you I was annoying. Why aren't people understanding that?

YES! Finally someone else! Yay! I was about to go crazy......well, crazier than I already am. It's weird that my friends that I hang out with at school don't think I'm weird. I know they think annoying though. *calms down* I need to shut up now.

message 92: by Catamorandi (new)

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) I am in Kansas now, but I lived most of my life in Naperville, IL, a suburb of Chicago.

message 93: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Really? That's cool! I don't know why, but all of a sudden I thought of the Wizard of Oz.

message 94: by Catamorandi (new)

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) That's what most people think of when I say I'm from Kansas. Actually, Kansas isn't very exciting, but it is quiet and peaceful for the most part. That happens to be what I need, so it works out well for me.

message 95: by korrinamoe (new)
