Menna Emad I just finished it and I really like it. I think HP fan will like it too.

Taryn I read it a couple of years ago but it was mostly independent of my Harry Potter reading. But I think the light-hearted humor in it can definitely compliment Rowling's more dry humor. :) I love both books (series) very much, in fact they are my favorites. HP is much deeper as far as twisting plots and depth, and has a lot of mystery and charm, but Wynne-Jones wrote something meant to be both mysterious and charming at the same time even without the depth, and that's difficult to do.

Yue I am a hardcore fan of HP series, and recently I've read Howl's Moving Castle... I love it. I am trying to find books similar to this one; unfortunately I didn't yet (besides The Enchanted Forest series, amazing books too)

Jessica Gee I love this book too! And I am definitely an HP fan. :)
