Robert Pattinson has confirmed he is NOT playing Finnick Odair in Catching Fire.
Sadly, he was my first image of Finnick, then I changed my mind. Drastically.
My first image was Grant Gustin hahaha he would make a perfect Finnick in my eyes!
I can't believe that anyone would even believe that in the first place, tbh
He better not! lol, not hating on Pattinson(I like him) but Im sort of over him. I want a fresh (hot)face to play my favorite Finnick Odair :)
thank goodness. he is a terrible actor, that would ruin the movie.

Thank God... I like RP for some parts, but he is definitely not right for Finnick.

Just because the Twilight movies are...kinda bad (popular opinion, some people like it) doesn't mean he's a bad actor. He played a good sparkly vampire, as far a sparkly vampires go. He also was Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter. He was good in that.

REJOICE!!!!! I just don't see him as Finnick. (He was good as Cedric though.)
I love Robert, he's an amazing actor and his performance in Remember Me was great. Like any actor, he's good for some roles, not so good for others. I always pictured Grant Gustin for Finnick, but I think the reason why everyone was so against RP for Finnick was because to people who aren't his fans, he is and will always be 'Edward Cullen' you know?
But I HATE it when people say he's a bad actor when they base it off of Twilight. Twilight was a hard script to give justice to, and after 5 movies even he is sick of it.
If he is such a terrible actor, why is his movie Cosmopolis in the Cannes Film Festival and why does he have 5 other projects coming up?
Who cares?? I hate twilight anyway. He wouldn't make a good Finnick.

I think RP is too skinny to play Finnick, if they had to choose an actor from twilight I think the one that played Emmet (whats his name??). I rember reading somewhere that twilight actors couldnt do HG, cant remember the reasons, maybe because they are both from summit.

Haha i was thinking he would. As he played Edward Cullen; bronze hair, green eyes... Ringing a bell, twihards? I'm not a t-light lover in case you're wondering but i have read the books. Edward when he's human has bronze hair and green eyes and was good looking. Isn't that how Finnick was described???

Hey if he did play finnick you would of watched him get eaten by dogs. I don't want him to play Finnick either so phew.

Oh Thank you! I would have probably shoot myself if he was playing Finnick! Not that i don't think that Robert Pattinson can't act it's just he's Edward! We need someone new to play Finnick Odair

Robert said in a recent interview that he heard rumours and called his agent and she was like "um NO" hahahah so yeah, STOP WITH THE HATE! HE WAS NEVER GOING TO PLAY FINNICK SO ENOUGH NOW IT'S ALL OVER! :D IT'S OFFICIAL IT'S NOT ON :D
