Luke Dyess I am about halfway though this. I started it today! It is a page turning. Dekker at his best. But it has some things to it that seemed a little strange. What did you all think?

Aerykah I really liked it. Definitely didn't take me very long to finish it. :)
What seemed strange?

Luke Dyess I read it in one day. I really like it but the thing that I found strange was with The Bride Collector leaving his victims naked at the scene of the crime. It just seemed a little weird.

Aerykah Yeah, I know what you mean. I guess it could have been weirder, though. Right?
I really didn't care for how descriptive Dekker got with some of those scenes, if you know what I mean. But, other than that, I did really like the book.

Luke Dyess yeah...The book it self was great. I read it in one day. Anyway, thanks for the input.

Becky I really liked this book. I've read this one, The Boneman's Daughters, and Three, all great !

Amy Binkerd I read it when it first came out. I really enjoyed it, but I am bias as I really like Ted Dekker books. I think sometimes people do get uncomfortable with how descriptive or "dark" he sometimes writes. But in all honestly in a lot of ways this is a dark world. However I believe he wraps it up every time by showing the Father's redemptive love which shines through the darkness. ( I realize that last line sounds hokey, but that was not my intent! hahaha)

Patrice Hoffman I really liked this book. It was pretty interesting.

To me, this was an awesome book. Dekker did some major research when he delved into the mind of a person suffering from Schizophrenia. Never in my wildest dreams would I have understood how a person with this disease copes with it.

Dekker did and he put the time and effort into understanding it.

The plot line itself was a bone-chiller! Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. I've since recommended it to many friends.

Nattaporn I like the book, I finished it very fast. The plot is good. There are little romantic part which make the book more interesting. He is now another my favorite author now.

Rachel Luke...he didn't leave his victims naked, they were in wedding dresses.

Aerykah Rachel wrote: "Luke...he didn't leave his victims naked, they were in wedding dresses."

Ummm... I even pulled out my copy to check. The victims were naked except for panties & a wedding veil.

I guess I glazed over that, my mind creates its own story when I read...

Wren I really liked this. I read it at thirteen, and couldn't put it down.

Kelly I really enjoyed this book I think I thought a lot about how we are all Gods favorites though the killer took it on the wrong way we really are I have 7 daughters and sometimes I hear them saying so and so is your favorite and I have come to realize they are all my favorite in different ways. <3

Corliss I really liked this book. The characters were all intense; they made you mad and root for them at the same time.
