Jessica I am working on my YD book and need some advice. I will have over 22 characters, 2 are main, but 16 are extremely important, the rest are needed. When wanting to do a 2nd, 3rd, and so on, which characters should I focus on? I know I want to do one with the main characters as children and their friendships with the secondary characters, but what else?

Each scene, try to differ characters. One and Two and Three on one scene, the other is One, Four, and Two, like that. Try to slip in a minor character in it, that way it will blend in and the readers will be familiarized with them. Hope I'm of help =D

Brooklyn (thebridge) I think it really depends on the story. Have you ever read the Goose Girl series? She did the first book on the main character, then on two minor characters, then on one of the minor character's little sister, who wasn't even in the first three books. But it all depends.
