Welcome JB. Glad you found us. I've recently started listening to books and I've particularly enjoyed Timothy Dalton reading Benjamin Black's book.
Hi JB, thanks for joining the group. And good luck with your writing.

I appreciate your tip re Benjamin Black, Donna. That is one writer I have overlooked in recent years and never explored fully. Thanks to you,I am going to correct that immediately.
My favourite narrators of audio books include Gordon Griffin and Joe Dunlop but Timothy Dalton would definitely appeal.

I already feel at home discussing Benjamin Black, one of my favorite Irish mystery writers. Did you know that BBC is filming first Quirke starring Gabriel Bryne? I hope they start with CHRISTINE FALLS.
I've also read all of Declan Hughes Ed Loy, PI, some of John Connolly's Charlie Parker PI, all of Tana French's Dublin Murder Squad books, and love Erin Hart's Cormic Maguire/Nora Gavin bog mysteries.
I'm not an e-reader and prefer to collect favorite authors in first editions. My collection of the above authors is rather substantial...some signed editions.
I am most anxious to participate in your group!
Jane
Hi Jane, welcome!

Hi Susy. Welcome and good luck with your book. I don't do Net Galley (I'm not even sure it's open to non-US readers), but it sounds pretty good. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it.
I am fairly new to Goodreads and have just arrived here in this group.
I'm always looking for a good murder and prefer to take it aurally. I have read/listened to all the books by most of the well known murder mystery writers more than once. At present I have just finished listening to Rack, Ruin and Murder by Ann Granger and am now listening to (for the 2nd time) That Way Murder Lies (also by Ann Granger).
As well as an avid reader I am also a writer although I have not written murder mystery books. Not yet! Maybe one day far off in the distant future. JB :-)
