Personality: Melonie can come across as a bully, in some ways, she is. Almost totally emotionless, and with a seemingly constant scowl, her height of 6’7 does not make her seem any nicer when she’s glowering over you and cracking her knuckles like walnuts. However, she has in fact, got a soft spot for cute things, especially Laruu who she is extremely protective of.
Laruu is small, kind, sweet and naive, a total opposite to Melonie; she can be a cry baby and often relies on Melonie to stay safe. Laruu is often confused, due to her blocking bad memories from her mind, she is not completely weak calling up the forgotten into terrible anger.

History before the bad things happened: Laruu grew up with naturally odd coloured hair and mismatched eyes. Being a frail, sickly little girl on top of that meant she was often bullied and beat up for her odd appearance. Melonie had always been a great hulking brute of a girl, hitting anyone she didn’t like, and one day, when she was 6, she saw a small girl with mismatched eyes and violet hair, getting beat up by a group of boys. Melonie didn’t like that.
Melonie became like a guardian angel to Laruu, beating up the people who scared her, in return, the “giant” had found someone who didn’t fear her, but liked her for being kind. After that, the two girls felt no need for anyone else as long as the other was there, Laruu barely cared when her parents kicked her out at the age of 13 for _____ _______, going to live with Melonie and her mother, who were more than happy to let the small girl stay. About 2 years after Laruu moved in with Melonie, Melonie’s mother was involved in a car accident and died in hospital a week later. After that the girls survived on their own, one couldn’t live without the other.

What were you doing the moment the radio stuff spread: Laruu was at the shops, while Melonie was at home tidying the kitchen for when her aunt viseted later that day.
The ground started shaking, causing a stack of shelves to fall on Laruu, after that she blacked out. Melonie left the house as soon as the shaking had stopped, ignoring the pain from the spikes forcing their way through her skin.

well.. i'm just makeing the country ammerica 'cause majority are from there. the metior fell off the coast of australia :P and the gas was greenish. it spread in teh wind, in teh waves, in the atmosphere. There was earthquakes, huriccanes, fires, showers, natrual disatsers. In australia there is a draught.

Personality: She is a quiet, shy, kind little girl. When you get to know her she is bubbly and happy and extremely protective to her family, friends and animals. 

History before the bad things happened: Bella was brought up in a small girls orphanage in the mountains after her parents and 3 month old brother were killed in a car crash involving some strange rocket that smashed into the road causing a 4 car accident. The girls there were like her sisters and the owner was like a mother to them. However, the owner died of heart failure when Bella was 8. The new owner was a strict, horrible lady and all the girls hatted her. Bella and a couple of girls who she managed to persuade ran away from the orphanage and lived in a nearby forest for 2 months. After that they met a teenage boy (Ryan) who had also ran away from home and he looked after the girls (in the forest still) until the meteor hit. 

What were you doing the moment the radio stuff spread, where were you and where did you go: Bella was asleep under a tree at the edge of the forest with the youngest of the girls (2 years old) while Ryan and the rest were hunting (both in the forest and in the nearby town - food had become scarce in the forest). When she awoke Ryan had grabbed her hand and had dragged her, Amanda (youngest of the girls) and 2 other girls into the deepest, darkest part of the forest, found a tree to hide in and slept there for the next couple of days. They used to have a band of 10 kids (excluding Ryan) now they had only 3 (excluding Ryan). As the radiation spread Ryan kept them moving but Amanda was lost in a wolf/thing attack and the other 2 girls were killed in violent natural disasters a couple of weeks later. They kept moving and eventually found themselves at the other edge of the forest (over the mountain) facing a large city. They waited to see what had happened and if anyone had survived. When they saw kids moving around they took to the streets to find survivors and find out information. 

Appearance: Bella is a small and thin girl (if she wasn't starving most of the time she might be slender). She has long, light brown/blond hair tucked up into a plait, brown/gold eyes (now gray/hazed over), and olive tanned skin.  

Physical mutation: When the radiation spread she was kept from mutating a lot because Ryan kept her moving/traveling but she did go blind due to radiation. 

Other: Bella is now blind due to radiation. She also thinks of Ryan as her big brother and never leaves his side no matter what. 

Power: Nature

Personality: He is a strong, silent type when you first meet him but after a while shows that he is kind, loving, fun and very, very protective of Bella. 

History before the bad things happened: Ryan was brought up in a good family with a loving caring mother and a carefree fun father. They took Ryan fishing, hunting, hiking whatever sounded like fun and they thought Ryan could learn something from (life lessons). However, Ryan's father was killed in a car crash involving some strange rocket that smashed into the road causing a 4 car accident. Ryan's mother was forced to marry a horrible man to keep up with money/taxes e.t.c. Ryan was often abused and sent to do errands and physical labor for his new father while he abused and forced his mother to do the same. He (new father) also had another wife who ran a small girls orphanage in the mountains and he often sent Ryan up there to check how things were doing and to basically get him out of the way. When Ryan heard that 10 small girls had gone missing from the orphanage Ryan took his chance for freedom while on an errand with his mother to the orphanage. He asked her to come but she knew her new husbands other wife was close to death and wanted to make sure she got to be in charge of the orphanage to keep the girls safe. Ryan ran into the first and lived in there for 2 months before he  and across the band of 10 girls. He was surprised they were still alive because he had been searching for them since his escape and hadn't seen or heard anything. The leader, Bella, welcomed him and asked him to stay with them. Ryan of course agreed. He looked after the girls in the forest, teaching them how to hunt properly and fish e.t.c until the meteor hit. 

What were you doing the moment the radio stuff spread, where were you and where did you go: Ryan had left Bella in charge of the youngest girl (Amanda) at a tree on the edge of the forest (he could tell, she was tired from keeping watch last night) while he sent 4 girls to the town to scavenge for food and the other 4 into the forest to try and find anything to eat (food was getting scarce). He went on his own to find food from both sides hopefully when he saw the meteor hit. He screamed for the girls as he made his way back to Bella and Amanda. Only 2 made it back to them. Ryan grabbed their hands and rsn for the deepest, darkest part of the forest where he thought they would be safe. He soon realised there only hope was to keep moving and so they travelled over the mountains at a slow pace, keeping just ahead of the slow moving band of radioactive energy. Personality: She's a tough chic. She'll do what is needed to survive. She's always guarded around others. Has a serious case of Devil-May-Care attitude. She can get violent at times. A bit on the sadistic side. Always ready to take on a challenge, always looking for trouble. She's always wound up tightly and always reacts with practicality and keeps a high interest in self-preservation.

History: A pretty much normal life. School, homework, annoying brother, loving parents. But even then she was the kind of girl who was always ready. Maybe that's why she's alive while everyone else in her family is dead. She had had problems in her normal life. Her parent's felt that everything she said was suicidal and insane (though she didn't think so). She wasn't an outcast or something but she always felt ill at ease in school and all. Who would have thought she would be right at home in a land filled with radiation.

What were you doing the moment the radiation spread: She was sitting at home watching some crazy news of meteorite hitting Australia and all, munching on chocolate. Then everything went into frenzy. Her younger brother came running in spouting insane stuff about a tsunami and her parents drowning. The first thing she did was grab everything edible she could find and run to the to floor (30th floor) and then make sure if her brother wasn't playing a prank on her. He wasn't. After that everything was fuzzy. There was a lot of running, her brother suicidal, adults rotting...
The only thing she remembered clearly after that is a kind of suffocating feeling. Dizziness. Blurred vision. Agony. Delirium. She vaguely remembered slicing her inner cheek and lips open again and again. She had lain in a dark alley till it became bearable and them moved on, asking help from whoever she saw. For some reason they did help her.
