message 53: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Okay. I just didn't bother to look at the members because there are so many. Some that don't come anymore :(

Yay! I love new members!

message 57: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Yeah. Except when they join and don't do anything. :(

message 59: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Well, there are always the people that come on often.

Hehe. It's fun. People like me on here!

message 63: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I didn't go on the computer at all yesterday. It was pretty weird. Except I was occupied in the outer world.

message 64: by Carole, bluest mod (new)

Carole (cbusedtousethis) | 138 comments Mod
I feel weird when that happens.

message 65: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I'm so used to talking to everyone on this group everyday. Then I didn't yesterday.

message 66: by The New Maria (new)

The New Maria (emeraldmaria) | 85 comments I feel the same way, except not in this group, since I joined yesterday and all...

Me thinkies I'm gonna post a challenge...

message 68: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe When I first joined, I had no idea who everyone was except Eva Anne. She invited me. I ignored it for a while, and finally got interested.

message 69: by Catamorandi (new)

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) I spend a lot of time in my own weird little world. I know that's weird, but I can't seem to stop it. I am getting better at it, but I have a long way to go to stop the curse of the inner world.

message 70: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Yeah. I'm working on evening out the real world and this world.

message 71: by The New Maria (new)

The New Maria (emeraldmaria) | 85 comments But it's so much like an outer world... That's the problem. It's the world conveniently packed into one rectangular, opening device. It's the very definition of perfect. And that's why it's so destructive.

message 72: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe true. except that i can't enjoy time with my family online like i can in the real world.

message 73: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) I like this world. No one knows me, so I can say whatever I want. :)

message 74: by Catamorandi (new)

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) I also prefer this world. I don't have to see or hear anyone. I can talk to people and know that we have like interests and like to talk to them, but they can't see or hear me. Being shy, it works out great for me.

message 75: by The New Maria (new)

The New Maria (emeraldmaria) | 85 comments And you can change who you are. Be born again, in your perfect image.

message 76: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) I'm not shy, but here, it's easy to collect your thoughts. Typing them out means you sound smarter here. :)

message 77: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Yeah. You can also sometimes edit your mistakes. Not always though.

There's a clock on the bottom corner in Windows. It's a rhetoric question, but How many know how late it gets on a computer but judge differently about the amount of time in reality they have left?

message 79: by The New Maria (new)

The New Maria (emeraldmaria) | 85 comments I don't understand your question... Try rephrasing it?

message 80: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Arthur wrote: "There's a clock on the bottom corner in Windows. It's a rhetoric question, but How many know how late it gets on a computer but judge differently about the amount of time in reality they have left? "

Huh?

message 81: by Arthur, Mod! discussion mod privilege (new)

Arthur | 80 comments Mod
I can say huh too. This isn't cheraides. Guys, there's a clock on the computer window, you were talking about the computer's real world and the real one we exist in. So I laughed cause we put time into being on the computer even if it goes past late at night. There just seems there are no boundaries.

message 82: by The New Maria (new)

The New Maria (emeraldmaria) | 85 comments Computers > sleeping

message 83: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) You can spend hours on a computer, by doing nothing.

message 84: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Okay...I still don't understand Arthur's thing he said. It's just my sixth grade stupidness. Anyway, people say computers are a waste of time, but that depends on what you do on it.

message 85: by The New Maria (new)

The New Maria (emeraldmaria) | 85 comments Exactly, my mom used to be against me using a computer because she thought I used it for stupid things, now she knows what I'm doing and is very proud of me, but she still hates computers.

message 86: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Lolz. My mom just doesn't like me on the computer too long. Today she asked why I was on Goodreads so much recently.

message 87: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) >.>
<.<
My mom has no idea that the only thing I really do is research secularism-related topics.

lol

message 88: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe That sounds interesting and kinda confusing. Right now I'm working on a PowerPoint Presentation. It's the poetry one. So far I only have the first four slides done.

message 89: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) That's cool.

Basically, as I believe in knowing everything about everything, I am quite fluent in philosophy and debating.

message 90: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I'm pretty sure you're REALLY good at debating!

message 91: by The New Maria (new)

The New Maria (emeraldmaria) | 85 comments I'm pretty good at mental disorders. My Health teacher actually got annoyed at me because I was doing too many mental health projects for Health.

message 92: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) :)

If you look at the group "Debate" you will see.

message 94: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I skimmed through part one, fifteen, and seventeen. Even though I didn't read the whole thing, I believe you that you are good at the whole debate stuff.

message 95: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) *beams*

My superiority complex thanks you.

message 96: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe But I'm not good at that stuff, so...yeah.

message 97: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) No one is good at absolutely everything.

What are you good at?

message 98: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Drawing, reading, playing the violin. Stuff like that. Anything that's not sports. Except the game catch or something.

message 99: by Carole, bluest mod (new)

Carole (cbusedtousethis) | 138 comments Mod
So Lauren, how much do you think you know? Percentage, out of all the information in the world.

message 100: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I probably know 1%. There's so much information discovered each day!
