GR accepts extended characters like 'é' in the primary author field, but not in the additional author field, it seems.

Thanks for the correction.

GR does accept extended characters in the additional author field, my mistake. I just added a "Maria José Figueiredo" as translator to another book without a hitch. Don't know what happened with "José Ribeiro Ferreira"...

Seems fixed to me. Just as an aside, not had a problem adding the é to non-primary authors :)

I woke up today with a firm resolve to scan and add to GR an entire shelf of books in Portuguese. After adding maybe five in say two hours it dawned on me that it will take maybe a little bit longer than I expected. I'm trying not to think about all the other unsorted shelves... :p

But whatever keeps me busy has to be good. Right? :)
