Why can't I add my novel to Goodreads?

Can anyone tell me how to list my novel, Painter of Dreams, on goodreads? I tried adding it and linked to the Amazon URL, but it didn't come up. Next, I tried to add it manually, but a notice said that I have to be a "librarian" to do so. I'm confused.

I believe you need an author profile to add a book manually, which you should have as an author on Goodreads anyway. As for the adding from Amazon, Goodreads recently changed their system and I don't believe that can be done anymore.
