Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) Please use this folder to share out links to good tutorials and stitch diagrams (particularly video ones).

Some of my favorites:
http://www.nordicneedle.net/stitches/ (stitches)
http://www.nordicneedle.net/guides/ (how-tos)
http://crossstitch.about.com/ (and a lot of free patterns)
http://yarntree.com/007learnvideo.wmv (video)
http://yarntree.com/040halfstitch.htm (quarter/half stitches)
http://yarntree.com/007begin.pdf (venerable learn to cross-stitch in 5 minutes guide)
http://www.victoriasampler.com/Stitch... (particularly good for hardanger stitches and a nice job with the colonial knot which usually works better for cross stitchers than french knots on aida and evenweave/linen fabrics)
http://www.teresalayman.com/easy_colo...
http://www.embroiderersguild.com/stit...
http://www.maurer-stroh.com/tutorial/...
http://www.herrschners.com/webtv.aspx... (bottom video is basic stitches)
http://www.needlepoint.org/Stitch.php

Most of the fiber manufacturer's will also have free guides:
http://dmc-usa.com/Education.aspx
http://www.kreinik.com/articles/ (also now have a good youtube channel)
https://www.facebook.com/DMCThreads (you do not have to be a member of facebook to see business pages)
http://www.caron-net.com/patguide.html

Can't find a particular stitch diagram? Post in this group to ask or message me. Commercially, I like Cross-N-Patch designs/patterns and Indigo Rose for having a ton of good stitch diagrams plus the Donna Kooler Guide to Needlework book that's showing on my bookshelf (and a slew of older "stitch guide" or "encyclopedia of needlework" by various publishers you can find at half priced bookstores or sometimes for $0.75 from various sellers on ebay and half.com)
