Quantum Soul: A Sci Fi Roundtable Anthology

"What is Life? Is it awareness or the ability to interact and understand the world around us? As we dig deeper into reality, what will we discover about ourselves and what it means to be alive? When we stare into the mirror, are we really sure that what we see staring back is the only definition of life in the universe?"
I've not read all the stories in there yet, but so far I've found some real gems :-)

any decade now, given the way these authors take advantage of your time :-)

I'm as guilty as anybody ;-)

I'm interested to see how it goes. I've still not read all the stories in it myself, but some of them have been real gems, as good as you'd find anywhere

I don't recognise any of the authors mentioned in the info page.

they advertised for contributions on the facebook group SciFi Round Table.
Anyway I had an idea that I felt fitted the bill so just submitted it.
Technically with anthologies we do get some money, but I'm looking at it purely as an advertising method
Also because it now appears on my author page, I can compare its sales to my own books. In theory, given that there are 16 authors AND a facebook group promoting it should go well because surely the authors will be reaching out to entirely different groups of followers.
we shall see :-)

Admittedly they were excellent words, well chosen and perfectly formed, and slotted together exquisitely

And sometimes I just sits?
Another collection of anecdotes drawn from a lifetime’s experience of peasant agriculture in the North of England. As usual Border Collies, Cattle and Sheep get fair coverage, but it's mixed with family history and the joys of living along a single track road.
And sometimes I just sits?

remember that the farting cows have only replaced farting antelopes, wildebeests and elephants. The world was designed for that level of farting.
It's all the farting people who are causing the problems, there are probably six billion more of us than the design specs allowed for

Thought-provoking works on the nature on sentience and what that means November 7, 2017
Quite a few really terrific and thought-provoking works on the nature on sentience and what that means. Let me give you the highlights—which is not to say that all the pieces weren’t good reads. But some had better “punch” than others.
“By Design” by Alan VanMeter is a fast look at machine sentience and what that means. There are no limits to sentience, nor the moment to realize it. And speaking your truth may have more impact than you anticipate.
“Aether Technician” by Jim Webster read like a very compelling outline. I wanted a whole book, if not an entire series. THIS is interesting stuff! What happens when the very thing that sets a race free may be the thing that destroys it’s soul?
“When Words Are Not Enough” by Cindy Tomamichel spoke to today’s writer who is stuck in a certain company’s endless content-mill mentality. Also contains goodly amounts of snark and hat-tips to members of the SciFi Roundtable.
Wondrous Strange by E. M. Swift-Hook is a cutting edge look from another POV of sentience. And what is rebellion, and what is... godhood?
Highly recommended!
pleased as punch that my story got noticed :-)

immoderately
Especially given the charge sheet!

I read somewhere about one person who had to get neighbours to cut a tree or two down so her dish could see the satellite. Not sure how accurate that report was
