There are some adverts where you feel almost obliged to try the product but are afraid you won't enjoy it as much as the advert
Most of the adverts I enjoy I couldn't actually tell you what they're advertising, to be honest. I don't pay that much attention.
It has to be said that with not watching TV I did rather miss the better adverts. But now somebody can be relied upon to put them on facebook :-)
That's generally how I see them too. I only watch Beechgrove Garden and that's on BBC so no ads. And it was the last one tonight till next year *sniff*

Several of those lately, actually.I'm doing something called 'Literature Circle' with the ten olds, where we read a book together as a group and do various activities and hold book discussions as we go along.
Four different groups, one novel each group, new book every two or three weeks.
The groups choose the book themselves from a selection I've collected for
them.
They're enjoying it immensely and we're getting some great discussion on all sorts of topics but it means I'm having to pre-read a great many books before presenting them.
That strikes me as an interesting idea. I'll pass it on to a friend who has a youth group
There are teaching resources and YouTube videos that show how it's done.If he's interested, let me know and I'll email you some links n such.
