Ah but with chocolate you don't get the opportunity to use the line "Is that your rapier hilt or at you just pleased to see me"

At the moment he's inadvertently found himself out on the central steppe with five hundred stolen horses, a large number of feckless ne'er-do-wells and is being used as bait by one nomad people as part of their war with another nomad people.
He left home a couple of months ago, promising he'd be back in a fortnight at the most because he's just got a act as a guide

:-)
Yep, cannot see him growing up any time soon

Put me in your beta readers list, if I'm ever needed, k?

I've been promised ethereal beauties, fabulous voices, the most amazing music.
A sensation act which is drawing big crowds.
Problem is I've not got all the stuff through yet but there's this to keep you intrigued

or to cheer Will up, what with his classical education

Happy new year
I'm off to my bed

As a gentleman I can only say I would have assumed nothing less.

I'd still be there if Dave would have brought me food, but nooooooo.
He kept shouting 'aren't you hungry?' through the bedroom door until I got up. Shhhheeeesssshhhhh

I'm so proud that I'm one day gonna be able to say I knew them when. :)

So much for my hoped for 1000 words a day between Christmas and New Year!

Jim, how do you come up with your characters names? I like how unusual yet easy to pronounce they are. For the most part. ;)

You too, thanks for the very silly pictures on my Facebook timeline, loved them.
JIM, Patti has a very good point. Do you just call them whatever they are in your head or do you carefully pick names that you think will read easily?

I do have a novella/short bubbling under about pterodactyls and what would happen if they still existed... and how many people would be killed by dactyl pooh each year. Food for thought I think. Phnark.
Cheers
