The sneer appears to follow you around the room

Don't need to, I could tell by the sigh :-)

A friend of mine just gets dresses etc from charity shops for the fabric

I remember my grandfather and uncles working in the clothes that had been 'good' twenty years before. I still work in 'hand-me-downs' that have done good service in less stressful conditions.
I think the real blow came with cheap disposable clothes so that a girl will only wear the dress once on a night out and never expect to wash or wear it again.
It is interesting that men often horde old clothes because they're comfortable (if scruffy) and it can be wives and girl friends who throw them out.

kidding!!!
id never buy pants from tesco

The tshirt must class as retro then ignite, and be super cool...

It's rare for a pair of jeans to last a year with me. OK they last longer now, I perhaps get two years out of them, but I could wear out any pair in a year :-)

Fraying bits off the bottom!
Normally I've worn them thin across the thighs and sides of the legs from carrying stuff, and they're torn or the seams have pulled.
I used to reckon I would get two pairs of jeans in September, and by the following August they weren't even fit to be used as patching material :-)

Cheers

She throws nothing away."
Not even the rubbish! I know rooms like that well... *cough*
I'm throw out the rubbish now but I don't believe in tidying up.

Im thinking of with holding your cookie, chickie

thank you"
Well your request fetched a lot of stuff back that I'd half forgotten. Me and Sal (the young dog) went round stock this morning, and the words of 'Johnny come Lately' just kept haunting me as I tried to remember them.

we're doing a tour of the DMZ tomorrow"
Lorks. You're really doing it properly. We went to Hanoi and hung out stuffing our faces and drinking beer and just not being here. Then again, we always meant to go back... one day hey.
Enjoy.
