Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments I thought a sexfoil was what you used in making at sextent. Used for camping by a sexton.

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 7935 comments Sexfoil: Foil is french for leaf. Ergo sexleaf.

I've found an outfit for you in that case Jim. Perfect for monitoring your thread and distributing sherry.

But that architecture is soo pretty. The chicken not so much...

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) You don't want to know what they're talking about. It'll scar you for life.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments This is one of the weirdest threads. Maybe not the best choice ;)

message 662: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Giles (sandra_giles) I've stumbled across a couple of normal ones. I think they're hidden from Patti's view by some kind of spell.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I'll have to seek them out.

Welcome to my humble thread Emma, have a glass of cheap sherry and perhaps you'd care to peruse this fine selection of electronic literary masterpieces, all the while averting your gaze to David who's leaf may have wilted and Patti who is chasing him with what appears to be a garden spray of defoliant

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments This David? His figleaf has completely dropped off!!

Not a direct ancestor, I suppose it's possible to claim descend from her sisters.
Mind you Perseus was only doing what Athena told him to, a warning to all men not to get involved in the arguments of dangerous women.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Oh sore point there - don't mention the name Athena if you please...

She's the only one with the clout to stop Patti turning the thread into a toga party

Jim | 21813 comments The views aren't literally from our door, actually we get fabulous views from our field just above the back of the house, but the builders were smart people and knew the value of shelter

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments If I walk to the station and get on the train I can see some fabulous views of the sea and Dublin mountains quite quickly. Only problem is that I would have to pass the station where I uesd to get off to go to work. I'm trembling at the thought...

The obvious answer is do make the journey at your usual commuting time and ostentatiously stay on the train. Break the chain

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Well I would, but the thought of getting up at 6:20 is making me feel very ill.
