Hm, ok, so it's "how's 7th grade treating you?" I thought I read a message of yours saying you were starting 8th. Glad you enjoyed the summer course.
There is no minimum/maximum word count for this contest. However, I would consider a REASONABLE entry anywhere between 300 word to 1500 words. More is fine, but less than that really isn't what were aiming for. :)

Oh, and I've officially named the sequel Heartfire and added the description! And the third one is going to be called Spiritfire . So it'll be Soulfire, Heartfire and Spiritfire.

Hey Tink,Just dropping by, since I haven't been on in forever! I'm glad the stories in your trilogy have names! I think you should seriously consider a 4th book, and name it "Spitfire," for Cassie's fiery temper. ;) I'll be reading your next chapters soon! :D

LOL I figured you'd see it faster that way. Congrats, BTW. Ooh, cool! I've thought about doing Nano, but Heartfire takes priority. If I finish that before November, I may consider Spiritfire my Nano story. I don't know, it's a lot of pressure. I'm glad you're challenging yourself though! :D
Wow, that's such a nice picture. I almost always look awful in pictures (not a very photogenic person), so I appreciate good ones.

I'm bored, so I'm redecorating my cubi for the fall! YAY! Okay, designs will be up ASAP.
My newly designed cubi involves a bedroom, bathroom, lounge area, desk, dressing room (always wanted one of those), indoor pool/hot tub (ditto), and kitchen. Feel free to come hang any time!
