Tink's Loft of Passionate Daydreaming- Get Your Head In The Clouds

*dances happily*
Did you like it anyway though? Even though it was a cliff hanger?

You must write sequel now!

I will soon, I promise!

Here she is Adam, take it away!
*He grabs the mike and stares into TInk's eyes with a smoldering look*
Happy "the end" day to you,

Here's my other good buddies, Nickelback and Paramore. Here ya go guys- join the party.
And while your here guys- play Decode will you? I love that one.

Congratulations on finishing your story. It's a great feeling to close the book and say "I'm done." Now you get to do the fun stuff. Editing, rewriting, etc. Oh, we're still celebrating? sorry, I rained on your parade. Forget that stuff - Yay! You finished, dance around, scream....ya you did that already. Going to do some work now. Let me know when the next party happens, maybe I'll get there in time.
*Walks in, followed by Edward, who is carrying a ton of boxes*
Whew, looks like we made it in without being noticed.
Ok, put the boxes on Tink’s desk, we can start to decorate.
Yes the banner is just the right height. I am so glad that you are tall :]

Put the mini refrig over in the corner. Yes, I agree, I think pink will match her décor perfectly.

*Fills the refrig with a Jama Juice*
Let’s see, how about putting the fruit platter next to the cookie platter

Now, only one thing left…
*Ties a huge bow around Edward’s and pins note to his tux*
Stop grinning Edward...
*Looks at note one more time*
Tink,
Congrats on finishing your story. We are so excited for you. As I will be gone most of the weekend writing SOA2.
So, our gift to you is Edward “for the weekend.” He will be spending today and Sunday at your “beck and call.”
He doesn’t mind cleaning up party messes and loves to dance (but you knew that already).
Oh and one last thing, a signed copy of Adam Lambert’s “not yet released” CD. Just for YOU!
I am very proud of you!
Hugs,
Dee Marie & Edward

*gently shakes Adam awake and helps him walk out of room*
Feel free to come back whenever you like, Adam.
*winks*
Elaine:
That's fine, I trust you. I get what you mean- reading my story on the computer and reading it on paper are two very different experience.
Paige:
No worries, the party can continue until.... whenever, actually. I don't care. :) I think on the invitation I said until Sunday... whatever.

Wow, Dee! All of that looks SOOOOOO good! *fills plate with fruit and cookies* Yummy!

*Brings in a large chocolate strawberry cake* Ohhh, I see there's already a table of goodies! What an amazing party!
Well, hello there Edward, it's been too long. *winks* Would you please cut some pieces for the guests? What was that? I missed Adam Lambert?!? Jeeze, I should have come last night!
*Edward hands over a plate with cake, fruit and cookies, and a glass of Jama juice.*
Ohhh, thanks! *munches on fruit, cookies, and cake happily*
Tink, don't overwhelm yourself with editing this weekend. Be sure to relax too, you earned a break!
OMGOSH!!! TINK!!!!! YES!! I'm SO SO SO happy for YOU!!! This is great!!!

I really want to read Soulfire!!! Do you think you could send it to me? Or, if you don't want to, could you at least keep it up on goodreads until I finish it? Thanks so much! :D
Dances around...
TINK, Tink, Tink...
Da Captain is BACK! Whoo! Woo!
I had to run in and tell you as soon as I heard the amazing news!

*leaves a plate of very special congratulatory brownies on desk*

Thanks everyone for being so supportive!
Sella and the general populace :
I am planning on taking down Soulfire soon, probably by next Monday, so hurry up and read the end if you're in the middle! I am willing to email it to people as long as I know them relatively well.
Dee:
OMG YAY! I have to go say hi!

Thanks everyone for being so supportive!

Hey Tink, could you send it to me? I'm not going to be able to finish it by Monday, I'm really busy this weekend. :D

Yah, sure, that's cool. :) I have your email from one of Kenzie's messages, I think...
Andrea wrote: "Hey Tink, I forgot to ask you if you got into the program you applied to for the summer. I was gone right in the middle of your "auditions." Hope it all worked out for you."
Hey Andrea-
Actually, I applied to get into a creative arts school here in Southern CA. It runs from 7th grade to 12th grade and is mainly focused on the creative arts. Basically, you go to school for like 6 hours or whatever and then you spend an hour to two hours (depending on your grade) in your Conservatory, which is the arts portion. The Conservatory I applied for is called Integrated Arts, and it's basically a combination of art, acting, singing, and writing. I wanted to apply to just Creative Writing, but that's not available until high school, so this is the next best thing.
Now I've written a paragraph and haven't even answered your question. Yes, I got in!!!! I'm really excited and can't wait until my first day. :)

She kept fighting it and getting better, and then it would come back.
She was back at the hospital this week, and her mother emailed mine to tell us that she thought this was the end. She passed away yesterday, and we just found out.
I feel as though I should be sad, or upset, but really I'm just confused. How could an eleven year old girl fight so hard for so long, and then die anyway? Before she even got to experience life? It doesn't make sense to me.
Congrats Tink! Hope you have fun.
To your post here, I'm really sorry about Melody. But to answer your question, sometimes even though we're young our time is up here on earth, and it's time for us to move on.

I'm sorry. That's horrible. :(

Writing does help in these times.

Thanks! I'm really happy about it. I think it's a great opportunity that'll really help me further my writing career.

Andrea wrote "I'm so sorry to hear about Melody. It's very hard to know what to feel when someone we know, but weren't close to, passes away. And to lose someone at such a young age...that's very hard to know how to make sense of. But your writing could give you a way to sort through your feelings. Maybe that will help."

It was hard today, going to school and seeing those who were closer to her so upset. I just keep reminding myself that she's probably in a better place now, and at least she's no longer suffering.

Hmmm... I shall try again.. let me know if you can read it.
