(Well, it's not actually a best seller, since nobody is paying for it, but this is after all the weird world of Amazon.) These categories are very strange. If I had my book classified as "Arctic Noir" I would no doubt be at No 1 -- but I could probably get there with 3 downloads! I've had a look, and the thriller / suspense categories are HUGE and very competitive -- there are thousands of titles out there all competing for attention..... including hundreds written by very famous authors.
