Hello…. My name is Thom Swennes and although I have been an active member of Goodreads for a long time, I have just joined this group. I am an expatriated American, living in Europe. I’ve lived here for the last forty years but make a point to return Stateside to keep track of friends and family. I have studied history and consider it one of my many passions.
