Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) Thanks LK!!! I was just thinking about this the other day when I was trying to remember the name of a book and I still don't know what it is.

A few weeks ago I was browsing amazon and I saw this book (fiction) about a polygamist man and his family. It reminded me of the show Sister Wives. Needless to say I have not found the book yet : ( It really looked interesting and I want to say the word "man" is in the title but I truly can't remember :( I don't know if it is a HEA or even a romance. Such a bad memory I have.

Christine (Cagnes) (cagnes) | 160 comments Robin... Could it be The Lonely Polygamist?

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) ***doing the happy dance*** I think that is it Christine :) Thank you so much!!!

Christine (Cagnes) (cagnes) | 160 comments You're welcome! It's been on my tbr pile, just never got around to reading it.

I have read 1 book that deals with polygamy, The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff & really liked it.

Tyler Leigh | 121 comments I read a historical romance years ago & only remember the plot, not the title or the author. Here is the plot points that I remember:

A young woman over hears her sister's finance asking her parents to marry her instead of her sister. Her parents talk bad about her, to discourage the finance from changing his mind. She doesn't know that they are lying & decides to run away. She ends up swimming through the moat & hiding in a cart of wool heading to a market. The cart gets stolen by a neighboring clan. She ends up staying & falls in love with the leader of the other clan.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments Doesn't ring a bell with me, Jami.

The only one anywhere near that plot line is Dark Needs at Night's Edge (Immortals After Dark, #5) by Kresley Cole - and he's not renovating. Good luck.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Help me find this one .. Its somewhat like tiger's lair.. it has a long title .. 4-5 letters long......... Thanks Guys"

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments Hmmm... Sounds like a Harlequin Presents line, Mou, as those are almost all millionaire & virgin stories. Have you tried the Harlequin Presents Readers group? Specifically, the Help! I can't remember the name of this book... ?? Those ladies are amazing. I can't believe how many of these plot-lines they remember.

Wow, I thought I was going to recognise this one as soon as I saw "Australia", but no.
It definitely sounds like Harlequin Presents (and an old one at that - they're not so rapey now!).
There's someone on the Amazon romance forum who can literally identify every Presents book ever written!

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments Well, it sounds very familiar to me. I think I might even have it. But...I can't remember the name of it.

Tahyun (yuforromance) | 77 comments Okay, so I work in a library, so this is rather embarrassing.

I was checking in books the other day and stumbled upon a historical romance that I think was rather recent. At least, it looked newer, so perhaps 2015 or 2016 publication. I can only remember that the heroine is a thief.

I forgot to put it on hold or save it to my goodreads list. ::shame::

I know that is not much to go on, but actually, any books where the heroine is a thief would be great because that it was what intrigued me about this one.

Thanks!

Abigail Sharpe (abigailsharpe) | 2010 comments Deception of a Highlander has a heroine who is an assassin. (Disclaimer: I know the author.)

The only other one I can think of is contemporary.

Lisa Jo (lisajo85) | 1 comments I need help! lol

A friend of mine read a book earlier this year and she can't remember the title or author. I've tried to help her look and now we're desperate to figure out the answer! I told her if she had a goodreads account this would have never happened! lol

So I'm wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone:

World War II era book. There are a group of girls that live on a farm...they live with an older lady that basically takes care of them. I'm assuming this is like some sort of halfway house, or assistance for girls that are in bad situations. One becomes pregnant and doesn't tell anyone because she's ashamed.

In the meantime, another one of the girls saves a soldier when his plane crashes nearby. As he recovers, they fall in love, but eventually he goes back to war. They keep in touch through letters.

The pregnant girl eventually gives birth but does not want the child so the other girl takes responsibility for it and names the child after the soldier she now loves. The soldier is not happy she took in the child and writes to tell her he's not sure he can ever forgive her for doing this.

That's about all she can remember. She knows she read it earlier this year and thinks it was published recently but is not sure. And honestly, I'm not even sure if this book is categorized as romance...it may be historical fiction since I don't know if it has a happy ending.

Anyway, I thought I'd give it a shot to see if anyone here had ever heard of it! Thanks for your help! :-)

Michael Loder (wesloder) | 2 comments Help. I'm looking for a book. Cannot remember title or author. I read it in the 1950s, so assume it was published in late 40s or 1950s. Aimed at older children to middle grade.
Setting: Near Britain.
Plot: Children are disappearing and no one can figure out why. Hero loses friend (girl). Several years later meets a mysterious older boy who listens to his story and gets hero to hide in a box for transportation to a mysterious island. All the humans on the island are children of similar age to hero. They work as slaves in a mysterious factory and have no memory of where they came from or who they really are. But hero has his memory and he links up with older boy to free the other children and restore them to their families. He locates the girl too. A mystery and adventure story. Cover showed the boy breaking out of the box. Any ideas?? WES

I haven't heard of it, but a good place to look would be these lists:

Seraphinah Bellrose (sunsess) | 1 comments Just the place I was looking for! I have two books I need help finding:

The first is a teen to ya romance about a girl who is in a coma but this guy keeps seeing in his day to day life. The girl is completely invisible to everyone else, and the girl and guy have never met prior to this unusual encounter. The girl does not remember she is in a coma and the guy only finds out at the very end. Read this book when I was younger and loved it, but no idea what it was. I wanna say the cover was blue? But I could be wrong there

The second one is... not as detailed. xD I was at a comic book/graphic novel store with my friend one day and ran across this thick white book with slight gold on the front. It was very tall and wide in addition to being thick. The story itself is hazy to me but it had LoZ vibes (but was NOT LoZ, just one of those adventure stories) and the art was very soft and airbrushed. I almostttt bought it but it was expensive at the time, and for whatever reason I didn't write down the title. 3 Not sure how HEA it was because I didn't know much of the actual plot, but I tend to be attracted to HEA stories so it would surprise me if it didn't have at least a little.

Any help with either one of these would be very appreciated!
