20, too many Jane Austen titles for me.In turn I want to ask the BBC how many of my books it's read?
At least 30, most of which we covered either at school or university. Plus a lot of my favourites are on there. There's a few that I think I might have read but didn't include in case there's a test later. I'm going to show this to the wife because we've got pretty much every book on this list in our library and she's an obsessive reader.
Oh. Glad this has been bumped. We should do a group 100 books.
Would anyone like to take on the task of compiling 100 titles?
If we all suggest five books in this thread to start with...

29, at least 8 of which I was forced to read at school, and absolutely hated.
I was never forced to read anything at school, I'd read the whole thing instead of reading it in chapters each week like the teacher said. But they really do pick the worst books to study

I'm on 41 and 4/5 (Reading Dracula at the moment!) Interesting mixture of books on the list. Afraid I'm a little out of touch as the last post here was in June, but that's me always behind the times...
